Do you think that location matters when looking for candlestick patterns or do you think anywhere on the chart is fine?

only works on daily ? or also intraday 15 min?
@Netpicks1 Жыл бұрын
These are not time frame dependent however a 15 minute chart will not, generally, have the same magnitude of move as a daily.

Hey thanks for the video, exactly what I needed today. May I ask please: you referenced quantitative studies on the efficacy of these patterns. Would you mind stating which studies please? Thanks.

Not only have I done my own work on how I personally trade, feel free to look up the books by Thomas Bulkowski. Using a trading journal such as Tradervue or Quantpedia Premium can aid you in your own testing.

good strategy. question : of the patterns involving more than one candle,which one do you use to set the ATR profit/stop loss? the first candle,or second signal candle or third confirmation candle?
@Netpicks14 жыл бұрын
It doesn't really matter since the ATR shouldn't change that much. Consider using the trigger candlestick or the one prior to have some sort of consistency.
