One confusion in diphthong Near and pear, ear is same but sound is different. It's very confusing me how to understand it?

Pear has the diphthong /eə/ but near and ear have the diphthong /ɪə/. The words pier & peer also have the diphthong /ɪə/ but not pear. Hope that helps. Love ❤️ & 🕊️Peace. Liz
