I've gotten to the point where I hate the idea of love. I can never tell the difference between flirting and someone just being nice. When someone is nice to me it sets false expectations in my mind that, when they inevitably turn out to be not true, I end up resenting the person and hating myself for allowing myself to believe that maybe this time would be different. This makes me more confident that I might have a chance. They do pay attention to me in large groups. However, they are kind of an extrovert but at the same time a little socially awkward. (Yes, Socially Awkward Extroverts do exist. Your Awkwardness doesn't matter if you are an extrovert or introvert) They don't keep a distance up or try to keep barriers. We usually sit right beside eachother. Trying to untie eachother shoelace. They don't ghost me. When I send a message the reply right away. I do initiate a lot of the talking however they also talk to me willingly several times too. We can't ask eachother to meet up or hangout, outside of school activities. (On my side the problem is Hispanic Family Culture) They do smile and laugh at some of my jokes. Usually the jokes are something we can both relate too though. Most of them have to do with Trombone and Band problems. Honestly though, he is a good friend that I don't want to go away. Not sure if I myself even like him romantically or if it just platonic.

Well...I’m surprised to find out that he doesn’t show these signs. But there’s still a chance that he’s just being friendly and doesn’t like me in that way. I kinda feel i'm in a weird situation. My "crush" sometimes takes days to answer after i wrote. I then just leave her alone continuing with my life, but hoping and waiting for her answer. Then at some point she does answer my text and while doing so, she always seems interested and even asks questions. Also when we speak it seems like she could be interested. She's sending different signals that make me think she might be (romantically) interested. But I'm thinking leaving someone on read for multiple days is like the number 1 signal to show someone you're not interested. Of course people can be busy, but leaving someone on read for sometimes multiple days... i dont know how to evaluate that. For me, i can't wait to answer her to keep the conversation going.

Although I couldn’t tell if he was really excited or not, he had already put up barriers because the summer before that, the 3 girls saw that we were hanging out a lot, and shipped us. He went home to his dad and his dad said to create boundaries between us. We used to hold hands and cuddle (as friends). We had also been in awkward situations like kissing, and accidentally sitting on each other facing eye to eve then tripping. but then we had to put up barriers. But I am ready to move on though.
