Hey Gabi, thanks for another great video! My biggest hair smoothing issue is trying to get my thin, fine hair to look healthy and shiny WITHOUT getting weighed down and greasy...The struggle is real! (Hence why I love this channel!) 💙

My hair is fine/thin, and I have dry ends due to years of coloring. I love smoothing my hair, however I struggle with it because after a day, my hair looks limp. I tried so many products and the end result is always the same, limp and flat the next day.

I probably struggle the most with smoothing my hair w/o losing my volume! I have fine to medium hair, a fair amount of it, with a natural slight, curl wave. If I get it nice and smooth, I tend to lose volume and my hair lays too flat. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Love your tips and tricks and your channel!!🥰

Hi Gabi! I love watching your videos because they are so relatable and informative. A few months ago, I got my hair colored and I am now dealing with a serious chemical burn to my hair. It is very dry, brittle and frizzy. I'm trying all kinds of products and really trying to lay off the heat tools - but its HARD! I'm worried now with summer coming and the sun and pool, that I will only prolong this damaged hair if I don't work hard at protecting it going forward. So right now, my biggest hair smoothing issue is trying to balance protecting my hair while still using hot tools to smooth it :(

I love your videos! I have learned so much from you. I am now in my 60's and my hair is going crazy. It used to be board straight and now that I am graying, it has become wavy (but of course, not in a good way), dry (brittle) and unmanageable. The texture has changed, the thickness has changed and of course, it's less shiny. I am trying to incorporate your advice as I continue on my quest to age beautifully! Thanks so much.

Hi, Gabi ! Thank you so much for this video ! Shiny hair is such a struggle for me, because my hair is long and wavy, but not wavy in the right places. I try to straighten it to look like your final result in this video, but that is labour intensive as I struggle with random PNES [seizures]. I enjoy your cosmetic videos because you not only explain how to do things, but you also explain WHY. That is super important to me, because then it really means something to me. Hi Gabi, I love all of your videos and love that you are a Canadian content creator! I struggle with trying to keep my frizzy hair smooth and clean feeling for longer than a day. I love your hair tutorials and have literally watched your videos on a loop to teach myself how to use a round brush and blow dryer from you as my hair is too short and frizzy to use the Revlon one step. I have mastered using a smaller round brush with my blow dryer but can’t seem to find any products or tools that keep my hair from “poofing” in any humidity. This video gives me hope! I am dying to try these products and a steam straightener. They may be a game changer for me! Thank you for all you do!

Hi Gabi! As always, your videos are chock full of great info and I hang on every word! My hair is medium thickness and wavy. I struggle with the humidity in summer - my hair soaks it up like a sponge and I end up looking like a fuzzball, whether I style it straight or wavy. I lived in Alberta for 12 years (now live in Ontario) and I used to joke that I had 12 years of no bad hair days because it's so dry there! It was heaven! I have several products I use to try to control it (Kerastase L'Huile Leger, KMS Tame Frizz, Redken Frizz Dismiss) and they're ok, but not perfect. I'm looking forward to trying your method to see if I can get back my good hair days :)

Greetings Gabi, My hair issues are all of the above you struggle with. My biggest struggle is humitity. My husband, myself and our adult son with autism moved from down East to Lake Ontario to care for my sister who is palative. My parents are elderly and cannot anymore. My husband and I were helping my parents plan my sisters funeral and my husband passed December 15th just before Christmas. He was a young 56 yr old. I thought I had another 25 yrs at least with him. I loved him very much. Finding time to care for myself is often hard now. So I always look forward to seeing your videos for tips at home. I love watching your channel. I have ordered several products in the past you suggested. I have never heard of a steam straightener. I will look this up. Thank you for being so giving and caring. I feel very lonely ofton now so when I get a chance to catch up on your videos, I really appreciate it! Blessing and thank you for all you do. ❤😊

I have quite a bit of gray and this stuff looks A-MAZ-ING! Love your videos! New subscriber as of this moment! This video was immensely helpful, and I am excited to try the products you mentioned. I struggle the most with knowing what products to use on my hair and when, and also with the technique of drying so that the cuticles lay flat... I find I get partway there, but never that glassy surface you're giving us today! For details, my hair has become naturally a little wavy over the years... mostly type 2b. Normally I never comb or brush it (or it gets floofy!) and rarely have to wash it more than a few times a month. I wonder if that leave in conditioner would be heavy, but I feel the moisture will be good and nourishing... I'm looking forward to experimenting!

Hi Gabi, I struggle most with trying to get volume after using products before straightening. My hair has a natural wave, of sorts, but not in a good way if it dries naturally. It just has weird bends and frizz -- and VOLUME when I don't touch it -- but I'm typically always looking for the perfect de-frizzing and straightening products that will smooth and tame the frizz, yet not weigh my hair down and lose the volume. In a perfect world, I'd have my pre-style volume and post-style smoothness, because I want smooth, straight hair AND volume! I want it all!

Hi Gabby and thank you for this great Hair tutorial! My biggest challenge is keeping frizzy hair down right at my scalp area near my part. Especially in summer heat! I use a serum to smooth my wavy hair down & sometimes follow up with using a curling iron or hot rollers to smooth out my frizzy waves after washing. It looks great as I leave but by the time I drive to my event, it's back to frizzy town! Do I need to re-apply my Serum again in the car? Not sure what i can do to avoid a "greasy" look if i put too much product...

Hi Gabi, thank you for sharing so much useful info on your KZbin channel. Love it! My hair is frizzy and curly. I’ve struggled with smoothing my hair without losing all the body. If I blowdry and there’s a bit of humidity in the air, it frizzes within minutes. If I straight iron it, it’s totally flat. If I leave it curly, no matter what product I use, it ends up frizzing. I’ve tried every product out there and nothing has helped 😭😭😭 the products you used in this video look amazing and I’d love to try them!

Oh yes. I abused my hair for years and years and years too. Four years ago when I started this channel my hair was HIDEOUS. If you look at old videos you can see how completely ruined it was. If you haven't tried the Perfect Hair Fill Up (the first treatment product in this video), try it! It's incredible.

Thank you, Gabi! My hair is wavy but always looks dry. I would love to have that glossy look! My hair is not thick, more of a medium texture. I have lots of flyaway hairs at the top.

Love this! I have thick and slightly wavy hair and I find it hard to smooth. I would love to have straight hair. These products look amazing.

Hello Gabi! I love your channel and have been watching you from the beginning. So glad to have found you! I am turning 70 this year. Yep...officially old. Ha!! I was intrigued about this show & the products you offered. I NEED these because I have Janis Joplin hair - thick wild & wavy hair that just started turning gray. I struggle to smooth it out & live in sunny humid Florida. I am a mess. I hope you pick me but if not.....someone who is deserving and needs it more than I do. Thanks for all you do. Hugs!

I have very thick hair and smoothing it is something I’ve worked on for years. I can never achieve the same smoothness that I get with a blowout. Thank you for this video!

I ordered the Ladore product you used in this video but haven't used it yet. My biggest problems are humidity and baby hairs in my part on top of my head. Since my hair tends to be oily, I have to watch what I put on the roots so I usually just spray a small amount of hairspray in my hands, rub them together and then try to smooth down the top of my hair. The hairspray works... for a little while any way. Thanks for all your tips and tricks!!

I have just discovered your channel and look forward to checking out your videos. I am intrigued by these products you are using. I would say my biggest struggle is that I am not a girly-girl, and never really learned how to do all the things. I think also that I rush through when drying my hair and don't pay attention to drying to smooth the cuticle. I'm going to work on that. I have thick hair that tends to frizz in humidity. I don't live in a high humidity area, but when I travel, wow, do I notice it!

My hair is on the finer side and I feel like I struggle the most with keeping my hair smooth and clean for multiple days. Love this video as I feel like we both have a lot of similarities in our hair.

I love this video! I have long, thick hair.... and I dye it. My biggest struggle is keeping my hair tangle and frizz free, especially in the summer. Your hair looks gorgeous! I'm going to try these tips to see if I can get my vibrant red locks to look like glass. Thank you!

Hi Gabi, my hair is similar to yours I think but it’s also thinning on the top front. Ugh. My hair feels dry and brittle even though I only wash it only roughly every third day. I can’t go longer because of the products I use ( plus Rogaine which makes my hair awful on top). I’ve watched your videos and have tried so many things you recommend. My hair is sooo much better since using your suggestions- the Tymo brush, silk pillowcase and the lador or treatment. I’m excited to try the other steps you have recommended in this video. I have never found a hair stylist who is as knowledgeable and helpful as you with the type of hair I have. You really understand the problem of thin hair! Thank you thank you!!

Thanks for offering the giveaway!! I’ve wanting to get some heat protection and will give this a try. My struggle with silky shine is my menopausal hair and all the breakage I have. I feel like it’s caused from the brushing 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi Gabi - I have thick hair but thin once it's blow dried. I do use tons of conditioner when washing it because it is Super dry & tends to tangle, especially when I'm blow drying, most of the products I use work for a day & that's it, Once I get my hair to look the way I want to, by the end of the Day it is flat & sometimes frizzy. I get so frustrated that for the next few days it's back in a ponytail! I Love your videos & Love all the tips you give especially for maturing skin. I've learned so much watching your videos 🥰 I've been hearing alot of good things about Korean products & can't wait to try this on my own hair💕 Love Ya

Great tips, thank you! I no longer dye my hair and have grey. It's naturally rebellious and wants to frizz and revert back to its kinks and waves by the next day for sure. Not only does this product look promising, but I believe I need to try the steam flat iron...I didn't know that existed!

Yes its the combination for sure. You need great products AND great tools. One without the other will not lead to results like these. I also tried the brand new Dyson Airstrait (the video will go up on friday) and that gives GORGEOUS GORGEOUS results too. The only downfall is that its so darn expensive. The L'Oreal steam pod is expensive too so you have to decide which one is best for you.

Hi, Love this! Thank you for sharing and offering the giveaway. I will see you struggle with maintaining the shine without products that cause your hair to be greasy. I would love to have the shine in my hair again. These products sound amazing. Hope to try them soon! God bless! 🙏❤️🙏

❤Thank you so much I live in New Zealand and have never seen steam hair straightners😮 would love them as used GHD For years and my hair is fine frizzy and I have had hair loss. If I let it be its self it's definitely not the way to go as it gets more curly and unmanageable. So I have keratin straighting. But the products you have used look so much better ❤ so will see if I can get them on line or in NZ. THANKS
