It makes 6 gears, but those ratios are terrible. 2nd and 3rd could be a single gear, and 6th is so tall its almost useless.

Yeah I know, but I dont want to encourage just planetary stack boxes. So this one will work, but can be improved by the viewers. Building is 1/2 the fun in this game and if you just copypasta everything, youre left with just racing. At that point, just go play a proper one.

@@Apr0x1m0 There's almost unlimited ways you can arrange a gearbox with good ratios. Lay them all out in a line, stack them up, zig-zag them, split them to different ends of the car, lay them flat and alternate them, and the list goes on. There is no "best" layout to copypasta. Ratios is another story. When there's only really four different power curves to work with, that limits what ratio combinations work, and which ones don't.

@@K10wNs-Shed And thats why I showed two other boxes and mention that fact that theres more to this. Also dont want to make vids too long, would rather just cover one topic per vid. Also didnt say thats 'the best box', cuz I point out the fact that it isnt, its just a working planetary 6spd. Theres always room for improvement.
