Hello. @4:50 I think Jim Rohn says it right... Neglect... Neglect of discipline.. People neglect to do the most easiest things in life that a human being can possibly do. As he calls it, the mysteries of the mind. Great video Mr. Hussain.

I can relate to everything you are saying. We even have a similar life path (MBA, IT background, personal development addiction...). Now I'm buying my first single let (it's actually third attempt in doing so, because with first one seller bailed out, on second - my solicitor found the problem with the property title...). I really hope this one will go through to completion. :)
@TheSajHussain3 жыл бұрын
Srecko, it's never too late to start. What is the problem with title?
@sreckobutorac77773 жыл бұрын
@@TheSajHussain One of the previous owners didn't transfer the ownership "cleanly" and it was noted in Section B of the Title. My solicitor said it would be a high risk for me trying to transfer ownership to myself because some of the previous owners might still have legal rights to claim this property. Regardless, the property I'm currently buying is much better as a startup property (already tenanted single let - I "only" have to go through purchasing process and rent will start pouring in). Now it's a question of finding out details about tax treatment for non-resident landlords. I'm having a hard time finding someone who understands tax treatment for non-residents who can help me decipher this (it can mean a difference of keeping between 55 - 83% of gross rental income).

i am also same background. i had similar experiences. bought one in london, brand new development and offered by JLL, found it to be too expensive (700k single room in Canary Wharf), and got out of the deal. then almost lost another when the seller backed out before completion. i am in desperate need to learn all the skills. found your channel today and learning a lot.

Thanks for this video Saj, any person starting out and those who are on their journey without a plan and a mastermind group (one of the principles from Think and Grow Rich) can take reflection from this video and hopefully take on board the sound advice you give and understand what is required to be successful not only in property but with everything you want to accomplish in life.

Brilliant Video Saj, I really want to do property. I like the Lease option agreement. How much money do need if I want to do LOA? Thanks
@TheSajHussain5 жыл бұрын
Hi Ab, Generally speaking you are looking for people that don't need the money from the sale of the property (e.g. no equity in their property). This way you don't need much money to do the deal. Things you will probably need to pay for are solicitors, first months payment, getting the property ready.
