Here in the Netherlands, I once found 3 skeins of a gorgeous yarn that isn’t dissimilar to the colour made easy yarn that you talk about. I figured I’d pick them up, and stop by 2-3 more stores of this chain, so that I would have enough to make a sweater. Turns out, that was easier said than done. I ended up calling around to some 20/25 stores in total. Luckily I live in Amsterdam and there are many of these stores around. So I made it, with many phone calls and visits to 6 different stores. So happy I now have enough for my sweater ❤️

Thank you Sigoni, I tried all these steps, but was unlucky this time. However, I picked up a lot of great tips for the future, and am saving the video for future reference. Thanks for your kindness.

Yarn Canada is a very good reliable store. I have purchased from them for a few years now and I have never had any problems. Yarn is reasonable priced. Customer sevice is excellent.

I was not happy when fettuccine yarn was discontinued. I know there are other t shirt yarns but they are so expensive!! I appreciate the info on where to look. I've had to resort to over paying for certain yarn on Etsy but desperate times lol!

Not sure if you're interested but you can make your own t-shirt yarn. I've done it. It super simple. Lots of youtube videos on it.

I love fettuccine yarn too! Making your own t-shirt yarn is a fun option! Lovecrafts also has some really great t-shirt yarn and it looks pricey, but it comes with quite a bit of yardage. You can find it here: www.lovecrafts.com/en-us/p/paintbox-yarns-recycled-t-shirt?a_aid=d9e65f0a (*affiliate link)

@@TrippNBalz you're very welcome. Believe me...if I can do it you can too! There's a certain way to cut the t shirt so you get a continuous strand. Super easy!

Great information! I have checked out yarn sub before, and it's amazing. I have yet to make anything that a tutorial uses. I did have to buy from amazon a couple times, and Lion Brand actually sells yarn on it, and some of it can be a great price but might be color specific.

Yes YarnSub is the best! Amazon is a great place to look. I just wish the prices were a set price

Yeah, I don't trust them so much either. I've shopped from there once but it wasn't yarn related and everything went smoothly but I've also heard some stories from others where it didn't go as well.

Thank you for all the info on this video! I didn't realize I could look for yarn on Ravelry.... That's a great resource. I knew about Yarnsub but appreciate you reminding me about it. Question: The Chunky Monkey yarn was sold by stores in the UK. I didn't research it, but wouldn't shipping charges make buying from the UK cost-prohibitive? Thank you, Sigoni! Im looking forward to the next video about yarn! From Phoenix, AZ 🌵🌄🏜️

I’m not sure which store you’re talking about in particular, but I just did some research and it looks like Jimmy Beans Wool sells this yarn and it’s US based so shipping is only $5. I found another store, Wool Warehouse that is based in the UK, but it looks like shipping to the US is still only a couple of dollars. LoveCrafts is also a great place to go for yarn. I don’t think they have this yarn in particular but they do have many many different varieties of yarn that you can’t find anywhere else. I hope this helps!
