When you bring working yarn through the two dc, will the working yarn rub against your skin and cause yarn burn against your finger?

Finally, a true tutorial for beginners. I went through many videos that were titled crotchet projects for beginners but the patterns were so challenging I give up. Now I am going to try this. Thanks for teaching beginners with a manageable pattern.

I love this basket! I'm having a challenge with finishing the basket. I have a 'step' in the top, so it appears that my rounds are uneven. Any ideas of what I could be doing incorrectly? I would appreciate any suggestions you may have.

I saw someone take a plastic bowl with a small lip and place a binder clip on the lip. Then they threaded yarn through the two loops. Instant yarn bowl. I tried it and I liked it.

Me moving on from doing Woobles amigarumi to a larger, chunky black amigarumi with wool yarn that splits easy and a round rug of slip stitches with dark, multicolored yarn wrapped in thread that i had to double to have the right yarn weight: 🫠🫠🫠 Also, I was switching between the two projects and then realized I did the last couple rounds of the rug with sc stitches so tried to frog those rows, but fully just removed my stitch marker instead of marking off the previous row's first stitch and so had to fully start over this morning. I actually am almost back to where I was, but I've also realized how terrible slip stitches are for a full project - they slip and so can tighten previous stitches and make increase stitches incredibly difficult. So I may undo the entire thing again and redo it as sc. Maybe still blo? We'll see. Might try some things out with the easy to see Woobles yarn leftovers first

I have a cat that lays against my yarn balls and holds them in place. And he only sometimes bites or swats at the string! Usually, that's because he'd rather steal the crochet hook, thoigh

Thank you for this master class. I'm finally succeeding. This is the first swatch I've made that my edges are straight. You said this was your favorite stitch ,it's a pretty stitch but out of curiosity can I ask why it's your favorite?

I finally managed it! I'm a very timid crochelette who spent several days in the safe little bubble of my ever-increasing chain lengths, and any attempts at my first actual crochet stitch were quickly abandoned before I even got my foundation chain finished. I was frustrated and clumsy the whole way through, but once I began to find my rhythm, the process of going row by row started to feel soothing and... dare I say fun? I'm still nowhere near the level of being able to do it mindlessly or with any grace (still struggling to work through those two loops even now!), but I want to keep tinkering until I'm confident before moving on. I've made my peace with going a little slower than the 14 days recommended, but any progress is good progress! Thank you for being so thorough and explaining everything with patience and compassion. I really enjoy your teaching style and I'll be recommending this series as a great way to get started.

Hey there, I just wanted to say that I recently started crocheting and i've tried so many tutorials and failed so when I came across yours I did not have much hope, but after following along with you, I realised it was not so bad and I could actually understand enough to finish it. This coaster was my FIRST successful project and I am so happy with the result. So THANK YOU SO MUCH! You have no idea how much I appreciate your video and I hope you realise how much it helps others because I was reading the comment section and I saw how others were praising it too so THANK YOU once again! ❤❤❤ To the new crocheters out there in the world who are just beginning and get REALLY frustrated when you can't seem to follow along or understand any of the tutorials you are watching, I 100% recommend THIS one by Sigoni! Trust me, you will understand once you've watched it. Also, don't worry if it's not perfect the first time because mine was not either but if you keep practicing you will become an expert pretty quickly. 🧶🧶🧶

My problem i dont think is the circle. Its my yarn. In my new kit to make pikachu the yarn is wat i call tiny. An im having trouble pullin the tiny hook they gave through it as it seperates the yarn strands an looks crappy so i cant really see if my circle is actually workin or not. I need to start with some type of circle as it is an animal but ifi cant get the hook not to get tangled in the yarn as i pull through then how do i make it. Sorry really stuck here an nobody seems to address this problem. Any ideas???

Hello! Thank you so much for making these videos! I just started crocheting and am wondering if a 3mm hook is too small for beginners? Its good for the size yarn im using, but do you think getting a thicker yarn and bigger hook would make it easier to get the hang of?
