Yeah no I’m giving up I couldn’t get the magic loop part where it’s secure and then you somehow connect it to the loop

I really like that you showed the magic circle using a single crochet. I am a seasoned knitter but absolute beginner with crochet (3 days in) and am eager to make circles as this is where knitting falls short. The first stitch I have learned is the single crochet. So, to be able to pull that into the magic circle makes me a bit more confident, because everyone else has shown a double crochet. We'll see how it goes tonight!

Soo cute! This was a very easy video to follow, thanks a bunch! I’ve never made coasters lol and I’m an intermediate crocheter! Love how simple it was and super cute! I plan to make a lot more lol. Thanks ☺️

Are the circles at the end labeled correctly? They look switched. I thought the seamless join wouldn't have gaps, and the slip stitch ch2 would create gaps.😅

ok isee this is an old video for you...but i just started this craft last month...my stitches usually start loose, which is ok. however, now i'm making a fancy design & loose is not what i need. so thank you sharing this at a slow pace. I've made it & love it. Hope you are well!

I tried this several times and I just wasn't satisfied with my result. I don't like using the chain 3 as a stitch, because I think it very clearly shows where you have joined the rows. I was using black yarn and it was hard to see where to join at the top of the third stitch. This one just didn't work out for me.

After doing the base, wouldn’t it be better to to do some decreases to the sides of the basket to add a bit more of a bowl shape and, thus, more structure? The sides of my bowl were a little floppy and I’m making a second one, so might try tweaking it a little. Just a thought.

I didn't notice that but I was making it wrong but it came out great. I love this coaster. Very easy to make and the perfect size. Thank you. You're directions are well done, I had done the puff stitch before on a baby set but it wasn't the same. To didn't realize it but I was making it wrong but it turned out ok so we both goofed. I'm going to check out more of your videos.

Hi, I'm new to crocheting. Whenever I try to make a single crochet in my chain, I end up with a big hole. However, I continue crocheting thinking it might resolve itself. I doesn't, and I end up with multiple holes in my project.

QUESTION: w/YARN OVER a). Why is it that sometimes you grab the yarn from the index finger from under the right; other times you grab the yarn from the index finger finger from the left? Does it change the appearance in the end. ie, chain, loop, crochet stitch, etc? I've developed a childhood habit of doing it ONLY ONE WAY (is that ok?) Should i try to correct it NOW, that I'm interested in crocheting again at 60+? BTW: You are magnificent❤;-)lol

Pull through...got 2 loops on the needle... your video disappears and you have 1 loop after you "pulled through". I'm completely flustered trying this a few times now, I have no control with my finger and tension! I'm about ready to give up here 😭
