This video is way underrated. Deserves many more views. Also the concept art is amazing.

Thank you for sharing your process. When I think of stories, I usually think of them as a movie, so starting with a screen play makes sense to me. I like the idea of each chapter being from a characters point of view. I haven't read the Expanse yet, but it is something on my list. I have always been a fan of taking the time to tell the story and not worry about the length. I really saw this come to light after reading The Da Vinci Code. I remember there was a chapter that was a single page and I thought it worked well. It made things easier to read. It also caused me some problems when I would say "just one more chapter" and the next thing I knew it was 1 in the morning and I had to be up in four hours for work. I found your work through a Facebook post about your video of making spaceships, then watched the short, and finally this video. I look forward to reading your work next. Thanks again for sharing this.

Can’t tell you how much comments like this mean to me! I’m still querying the book to agents, but I’m also still thinking that if I can’t find representation by summer, I’ll publish as an ebook. Thanks for watching, and glad it was helpful!
