All of these things are valid and true. But my love for my locs supersedes these issues (just like you). And yes, the military regulations have changed. I’m a veteran and was able to wear my locs (outside of wigs & braids) the last few years.

Greetings, NattyAnn [& fellow "LocLovers" (😍)]! I am excited that I found your channel. I have been loc'd for 5 1/2 years. Loving the journey. My spouse passed last year and I was considering cutting my hair but I have reflected and moved passed that critical decision as for me, that is what my journey is all about: life, growth, & strength. Hello, I’m so glad to have you here! Thank you for sharing. Please accept my condolences. I’m happy that you are comfortable with your decision to keep your locs. When my nephew passed in 2019 I thought about cutting my hair. My sister told me not to because he loved my hair. Looking back I’m glad I didn’t. The only thing constant in life is change, with that comes growth and strength. Peace be unto you sis 🤎

Another excellent video 🤗! You always look so chic and stylish ✨🌹! Love it ❤️! I admit I used to pick my daughter’s locs 🫣, but after learning the negative effects I’ve stopped. I just have to CONSTANTLY remind her to wear her scarf at night 🙏🏿! I also don’t style my locs that much, but I didn’t really do much styling with my loose natural hair either 😅! I’m still so glad that I started my loc journey after complementing it for nearly a decade! Thanks for sharing 🥰!

Thank you so much! Once I started picking my locs to get lint out, it almost became addicting. I caused damage but I definitely learned my lesson lol I’m glad you’re getting your daughter in the habit of putting on that scarf, maybe have her pick out one she likes so can be more inclined to wear it 🤞🏾lol I always say “the Loc is the style” so we really dont have to put extra effort into styling 🤣 I’m glad you started your loc journey. Your hair is gorgeous!

I love seeing people with locs I think they are strong minded and confident no matter what the color of their skin is. All of these cons are very true tho. Thank you for sharing this information 🙂 see you in the next one

I’m also 8 years loc’d. The weight is for real! So much so, I don’t think I will keep it this long much longer, although I do love feeling my pony brushing my tail, so to speak. Until that summer heat hits!!! Yikes!

Very well said 👏🏽👏🏽 Once again you are very sophisticated, beautiful Queen. I love all of your cons. I love the bun & hair out in the back. Your earrings are pretty too. My hair is down my butt. The only time it is heavy is when I wash it. But once my hair goes beyond my butt I will do a trim 😊

My locs are four years old and we'll they are light...now. Yes lint used to drive me nuts bt now I just let them be.

I’ve reached my length goal lol I feel the weight when all of my hair is up. I’ll be doing a trim soon but in the meantime I’m enjoying this length.
