I think Halle said she wants to comb her locs out, she cut her locs short too like to her neck. Chloe’s locs we’re shorter because I think they got damaged from all the styling so she NEEDED to cut them. I think they’re in a situation where they don’t feel like having locs anymore since they’ve had them for so long. And also, as main stream as ppl try to make locs, they’re not as mainstream as straight hair. And being in a business where straight hair is preferred even for black women, you feel the pressure to assimilate and conform. I wish they’d never mess with their locs tho! They were absolutely gorgeous! But it’s their head and their hair so it’s their choice what to do or not do with their hair lol

Yes! Show biz is tough with all the pressures they have to deal with. I’m actually happy to see beautiful black women talking up space with locs and all. If they cut off so be it. But Imagine Halle with a short cut! She would look like a supermodel ❤️‍🔥

Chloe and Hallie don’t seem to “pop” with the wigs/weaves. The locs actually made them stand out and provided star power in my opinion. They seem so average now.

14 years in for me. I let my edges be so much that they grew into new locs 😂 I'll be 33 this year and I also have a few silvers popping up. They cute for now lol. Beautiful braidout 💜

As always you are very positive & powerful. Love the braid out very luscious. I will be 14 years strong in August, I'm starting starting to get gray hair. I don't mind it. Will keep my locs forever 😊

15:30 I think many people are unable to “sit still” with most activities. They don’t feel valuable unless they are constantly moving or changing.

That is true for some. I kinda used to be like that but I’ve realized the importance of being still at times. Just being is enough ✨

Your braid out is cute. I have thick locs and only have 53 so a braid out would't be the style i choose. I have twists right now because I'll be semi freeforming starting this year. I got my last retwist on 1/29. I'll be 4 years loc'd on 4/5. I trimmed my hair in october. My hair was just falling below my shoulders and the lint build up was real so i cut out all the lint. My locs are short again, locs not even touching my shoulders yet . But I know i'll b back to that length again. No edge control 4 me. I used to use aloe vera gel on them and I thought it was cute but I don't have time 4 that everyday.

That darn lint, so annoying! Twists are fun too! Have you tried bantu knots? I’ve never tried aloe in my hair before but heard good things about it.

@@nattyann i have never tried bantu knots on my hair but i guess ill try it. Ill take a pic if it comes out nice when I try it but I'm looking to not wash my hair for another month. How often do wash your hair?
