Hey I know a local guide in upstate NY that will bring you to a snow cave, mountain hikes to pick ramps, art museums, a outdoor market and special spots to eat outside in the hills. Impressive scenes from your travels, the mountains, cities, hot springs, dancing, just idyllic! Thank you for sharing.

Agree with Japan, the only area that can be pricey is the flight but depending where you look and time of year you’re going you can find great deals. The exchange rate is great for the $1 and hotels are affordable especially considering you’re only there to sleep and shower lol.

@@JustBookedIt South African here...very cheap for visitors, as our "Rand" is weak against "USD"...Cape Town and surroundings, West Coast, Garden Route, Wild Coast, all is beautiful, skip Durban and Johannesburg, Karoo - beautiful nature, if you love wild animals - Kruger National Park, take the Blue Train from Cape Town to Pretoria..I am situated in Hartbeespoortdam, 40 minutes from Pretoria...stay clear from "African markets", it all really depends on what you are looking to do.

Just subscribed and we are also nomadic. Early retirement. We are going to Japan in late February and will be there for a month. Can you tell me where, as hikers and nature lovers, we should focus for our time.
@JustBookedIt24 күн бұрын
Amazing! Thanks for the support. Do you all move around every few days or try to stick to places for a month or so? A few people we know hiked Mt. Fuji and enjoyed it. Is a bit crowded though. The only outdoor hiking time that we did was outside of Kyoto in Arashiyama. The bamboo forest is there and a great monkey spot. We really enjoyed it! But we only scratched the surface as far as outdoor activities go in Japan. I wish I could recommend a few more things, but I do not want to lead you down the wrong path.

Capetown is the best . The Dolphin Coast with stops in Durban , Ballito, St Lucia was great . Stayed in Kruger for 5 nights in bungalows. Went to Zimbabwe and Botswana. Overall spent a month there and spent least than $150 per day. Stayed in guesthouses or Airbnbs .Would go back.

Go to Thailand. The CAD THB rate hasn't dropped as much as the CAD USD rate. Unlike RBC, CIBC will transfer CAD straight to THB without making you change to USD first. Thailand is much cheaper than the places mentioned in this video, and it's fabulous. The other day I bought four crab cakes at the food court at the mall for $1.70 Canadian. Delicious. I stayed at a studio apartment in a four star hotel in Hua Hin for $40CAD. Chiang Mai is also very cheap. Get here before White Lotus 3 airs on HBO and the white hoards show up.

I have been to several of these destinations: Mexico, Croatia, Guatemala, and Japan. I concur with those choices as being enjoyable. When I visited Japan [1982, 1987] it was much more expensive.

That is awesome. Japan in the 80s must have been such a cool experience. Pre cell phone and pre google. That must have been awesome. Yeah these were all super affordable as a family. Cheap destinations ? I wouldn't call $4000 per month cheap. I must admit I did not get into your video more than the 1:12 mark and decided your view of cheap was not my view of cheap. I looked at places in Mexico earlier this year but now, hotels are not what I would call budget friendly. I lived in northern Japan back in 2007 and, unless it changed a lot, it is not cheap there also. I think maybe SE Asia including Malaysia and Indonesia are still budget friendly for travelers. Good luck.
@rowanmulvey8632Ай бұрын

Just a little feedback: there’s a lot of mouth noise in your voiceovers. I’m not a content creator so I don’t know the fix for this but I watch a lot of YT so I know there is one. A significant minority of the population suffers from misophonia and a major trigger for it is mouth noise, so it’s worth researching how to mitigate it.
