You just simply unbolt it. Just releave the fuel from the rail first.

Finally got this problem fixed on my car after months of process of elimination, replacing spark plugs, the high and low pressure fuel pumps, until finally figuring this out. Had no idea what the symptoms meant. The worst of it was a month or two ago when my car stalled out on the interstate during the absolute worst traffic. Barely managed to get my car over to the side lane before the engine stopped starting completely… Got stuck for more than 40 minutes until a kind stranger pulled in front of me to offer to help tow my car up ahead to where the lanes weren’t walled off so that I could get pulled to the side of the road. The whole entire experience was the definition of a nightmare

Every time I erase the codes my car works perfect. After a 20 seconds code comes back every time. It HAS to be the faulty fuel pressure sensor.

My 09 535i continues to give me the DME active codes 29F2 and 2B2C and Shadow codes 2FCA/ 2FDA ,I've already replaced the hpfp , lpfp , EKP, 02 sensors both plugs and packs, new gas cap, oil filler cap, low pressure sensor next I'm changing the high pressure sensor, what do you think I should do next?

Hello - I have a 2007 Toyota Rav4. High mileage, but good car. Started with P0171 code. Replaced mass air flow sensor. Then got a P0304 code (misfire). Shop replaced all spark plugs and ignition coil for cylinder 4. All good and then P0171 came back on and then misfire again on 4. Can the P0171 (lean) cause the misfire? Took back to shop and the said maybe O2 sensor - replaced - still P0304. Car runs good, starts good, but when getting on highway and speeding up gently, or when on highway and going up a incline or hill, misfires. Any suggestions appreciated.

my Bmw 228i stalls on me intermittently and doesn't want to start unless I put gas in it even if the fuel gauge reads the tank as being half full. Once I put gas in it, it starts and runs perfectly. I have replaced the fuel pump and fuel pump control module but the problem stills persists. Any ideas what could be the problem? I am thinking its maybe the fuel pressure sensor??

I would like more hands on examples of how to fix. It started off with my gas cap being loose. I fixed it but couldn't get the gas cap warning off. Then the engine light came on. I went to O'Reilly's who put that device in & the code read replace fuel tank pressure sensor. Primary was leak detected then PO455. I went & bought the part. But I don't know how to put it in and can't afford a mechanic. It's a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix Base. Any ideas of what to do?

This has to be my problem. I changed the throttle body brand new, new maf sensor, new low pressure fuel pump, and changed high pressure fuel pump seals. all that’s left is fuel pressure sensor. If this doesn’t fix it i am f***cked 😢
