The mysterious broadcasted numbers reminds me of "Lost" (14, 18, 15, 16, 23, and 42). Not only were the numbers broadcasted by Rousseau, they were on the hatch and used as the code that kept the islands magnetic properties at a normal level. Hurley won the Lotto with the same numbers and thought they were cursed, because of the bad luck he had after winning. Then we find out that the numbers also represented Jacob's candidates. I wonder if the Lindelof and Cuse got the idea for the numbers from the mysterious broadcast.

There was also a male cosmonaut who was recorded by 2 Italian radio enthusiasts burning up upon re-entry.
