The game is so well made and cute, I've been playing pokemon since yellow, and yeah I got a little disappointed on how easy it is, but there are lots of other factors that really make the game super fun. Its a different type of Pokemon game, people shouldnt get mad at it.

I tought the game was pretty easy too, so I played with only weaker pokémons to have a challenge, my team was raticate, persian, weezing, arbok, victrebell and golbat, basicaly only team Rocket pokémons, It was pretty Fun like this, maybe you should try something along these lines.

I honestly thought it was pretty difficult because I didn't use the starter, but I ended up disliking it because the majority of the music is really lame in comparison to other Pokemon games, and the postgame is mostly just grinding (not fun there is too much). And although it is cute, the main story is very disappointing.

I actually really like how Let's Go heavily encourages you to pick and stick with your favorites. Like, you like Sandshrew? Well catch Sandshrews... tons of Sandshrews.... tons and tons and *tons* of them! You'll get hella chains for guaranteed better IV's and higher chances at a shiny, and Sandshrew Candy to make that Sandshrew the highest-percentile Sandshrew in Kanto. You can be like Trainer Joey and his Rattata with any pokemon you want. Then there's the whole master trainer thing to put this to the test, which was a great idea.

I hate it, cause I only like catching 1 of each pokemon. I absolutely HATE that you now have to catch hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of the same pokemon just to level up slightly. It makes pokemon useless. You have an Eevee or Pikachu? Who cares, you can catch literally thousands of them in the game. You're not special and your pokemon aren't special. The game basically put in a grind, worse than leveling up through battles, and people are praising them for it. Which is sick and disgusting, as the Combat and Catching unique pokemon was always the point of Pokemon games.

Okay, I don't understand why everyone is hating on Pokemon Let's Go! First of all, the battles. Everyone is complaining about the battling random Pokemon thing being removed. Do any of you know how HARD it was to sit in a patch of grass battling the same random Pokemon over and over and over trying to level your Pokemon? And if you wanted to get your lowest Pokemon to level up faster, you'd have to make it the leader of your party and battle with it. Getting rare Pokemon, shinies, and leveling up on the old system was incredibly annoying. I still haven't beaten the Elite Four in Pokemon Sun and I cannot get my Pokemon to level quick enough! For those complaining about not being able to evolve your starter, it's called Pokemon Let's Go EEVEE/Pokemon Let's Go PIKACHU. Not Pokemon Let's Go Vaporeon/Pokemon Let's Go Raichu. And your starter Pokemon has more bonuses than just putting it in your box in favor of your new Vaporeon. There's the special move mentioned in the video, plus the fact by the time you catch a new Eevee to evolve it, your starter Eevee is pretty overpowered. Personally, I feel that Pokemon Let's Go may be easier, but not always easier and it's a nice break from spending hours trying to level up my Incineroar in Pokemon Sun. And removing the whole having different Pokemon have the special abilities like Cut was annoying. I didn't want to have to pull out a whole different Pokemon just to cut down one measly bush. Now, your starter gets all of the special moves/HMs, so that's nice. And the general rule I always follow when playing a Pokemon game is to talk to all the NPCs. It's not something the game has to tell you, if you were a true Pokemon veteran you would know this already. And if you REALLY want to have a challenge, then I guess just put your starter away! Or stock up on Max Potions, Max Potions, and more Max Potions and try to beat the Elite Four with a level 3 Metapod. Or try to fill out your Pokedex, collect Articuno and Moltres, beat EVERY NPC and boss, and then after all that you can finally consider the game 'beaten'. How about shiny hunting? You could try that as well, or get all your Pokemon to level 100. Max out your relationship with your starter. There are plenty of ways to make the game more challenging other than beating the game bosses with your overpowered starter. I like the way Let's Go is designed and I hope to see Let's Go moving into other Pokemon and regions. Let's Go Vulpix, Let's Go Raichu, things like that. Ooh, or Let's Go Litten staged in Alola, my favorite region! I love Let's Go, so please stop hating on it if you think it's too easy! Go play other Pokemon games if you're that offended....

I think the only thing on this list that I didn't learn from the game was the Signature move. It did happen once by accident, but everything else you can find out from an NPC somewhere in the game. But that requires prior RPG instinct of talking to every NPC lol.

well I'm a veteran too, i just hate the CP thing intead of battle and level up on wild pokemons, this make you have to catch almost every wild pokemon to level up and on rare pokemon you have a chance of random capture? I love the old mechanic where you weaken a pokemon before catching. On top of that you have to release duplicate pokemons you caught? I didn't buy the game since it too much of a grind on catching multiple pokemons and manage them to where they not over crowed in PC BOX.

To increase shiny chances, you actually only need to catch 31 of the same mon to get maxed. But I think randomised stats continue to increase past that. Just saying that you don't need to get up to something like 249 for the best chances, only to have a normal mon run on you...

I got all 8 badges and beat the elite 4 became champion in a matter of 4 days. But I dont have every pokemon yet nor have I beaten every coach, master or regular. DON'T feed them the stat candy, only feed them the pokemon specific ones. Those will increase all stats at the same time, and you will get the most gains out of the cap given.

Another two things they don't tell u is that (I don't know if this one works for Pikachu, I have Eevee) but when Eevee wags her tail fast u are near an item on the floor, not always in a pokeball. U also can change Eevee/Pikachu hairstyle differently by swipping two to five fingers on the screen u can play with em so ur welcome

Quick question! I was strolling on Nugget Bridge in "Let's Go Pikachu", when a girl trainer falls out of the sky onto my characters head. I can walk through her and I can't talk to her. When I pause my game she disappears, then I unapause, and she falls on my head again. Why is she on Nugget bridge? Who is she? Is this another mechanic that the game didn't tell me about?

How do they manage to sell us this same game every year or two and we buy it. Like apart from the graphics and a few gimmicks this is a game I have played many times before. I’ve played Kanto region with Yellow, Blue and fire red. Also played Kanto after finishing Johto on Pokémon silent and crystal. But, when this case out I bought it. Didn’t even have a switch so I bought one. A few hours later and 3 gyms in.... I wish i had saved my money. Having my fav Pokémon squirtel walk around with me is super cool. Or riding around my onyx. But not $500 cool.

John McKay Exactly. I was in the same situation as you, and resisted and didn’t buy the console. But... aren’t there others games you can play on it from now on? Maybe those will make the money worth it. I am not into playing with family, which is what this console is focused on, though.

Yea, they also didnt tell you that you could style your Eevee/Pikachu's hairstyle. Go to play with Eevee/Pikachu and go to partner play. Then just rub two fingers at once on the top of your starters head and tah dah! The hairstyles are in random order though.

It's gonna be tough for me to stick to a chain to get a shiny. As soon as I see another pokemon I want, there goes my chain. Hmm, maybe I should just play Fleetwood Mac - The Chain in those times I need the will to go on.
