Hi. Could you tell us about the Tides forecast? I had a Amazfit GTR3 Pro that was never able to connect to the Xiaomi weather Server to get Tides prediction at my location. May be they fixed it in the T-Rex 2...

If something as trivial as the watch branding stops him from buying a watch then he isnt very smart it takes about 5 minutes to remove the branding if you have any ingenuity at all. I have removed the branding from many watches.

For people saying it has terrible heart rate sensor, well yes it does measure a bit SLOW but overall the post exercise stats are perfect.... I mean if ur not overly obsessed about the most RECENT accurate heartbeat (which i really dont see why, unless u have heart problems), then. Its perfect lol

The branding is definitely annoying, though not a deal breaker. So is the proprietary band. (And the Pro band is definitely better. EDIT: I changed my mind; see comment to this comment.) The rest ... I am very impressed with this watch.

@@jeffreyphillips3419 I ended up buying a practically new Garmin Fenix 3 with spare brand new nato band and new chest strap heart monitor. I swapped out the silicone band already for the nato which I can quickly slip off & back on in a second if it needs a wash or something. As mentioned, after my G shock and it’s shitty inability to change bands, NEVER again will I buy a watch without a standard pin style band attachment.

I have been using Trex2 along with Polar H10 without succeeding pairing them. I am feeling okay with the watch but could feel happier if it had independent weather sensors (local temperature and humidity). This watch depends on cellular for weather data which is great disappointing!

@@jerryx2000 indeed! But I think the Trex2 has also not so bad heart rate sensor! They differ only negligible! Pls, mind that no machine can give 100% true data! The benefits of H10 are it gives HRV and ECG data but Trex2 can't!

I need GPS to work. I need to see maps, streets, etc. I go to other countries and often in high risk areas. If I am robbed and phone/s stolen, I need the watch to save my life and be able to navigate safely out of the zone. I hated the Samsung 4 and love my Trex bc the Samsung 4 kills a battery in less than 1 day. It's pathetic. My Amazfit lasts a decent amount days but lacks the features needed like an actual GPS so I can see streets, areas, etc. The Trex 2 still doesn't have a real GPS map from what I see, correct?

Nope, this is a cheap watch. It has breadcrumbs navigation. For Maps, tries something like Garmin Fenix, Coros Vertix

@@guidoc3518 Wrong.. I have a Garmin Fenix and TRex 2..The Gps and Navigation on the TRex 2 works just as good and is just as accurate as the Garmin.. The realtime feature and the backtrack feature worked just fine ...I have no clue why your watch would not come with it working..The previous Versions of The TRex had crappy Gps and navigation which was totally alleviated on the TRex 2.. ;) Yes it is a somewhat inexpensive watch but it is far from Cheap. I have put it through Hiking the AT AND IT WAS LITERALLY A LIFE SAVER.
