I LOVE IT HERE! Moved here two years ago from Montgomery County. I was ready for a slower pace and it is grand.

Dunkirk has everything you need food and shopping wise really. Ace carries a lot of stuff because the Home Depot is about 23 mins from ace

Any thoughts on Tilghman island? Looked at nice house there but honestly scared about rising water levels to be near bay
@LivinginSouthernMaryland7 ай бұрын
I like Tilghman but like you said, low lying areas like that are concerning with the rising water levels

I was looking at this area, and I heard the beach was "residents" only. Honestly, I dont know what that means...can my guests go? If I rent, can they go? Is there someone checking driver licenses lol.. sorry its a bit of a serious question though.

I agree it’s an odd ordinance. The way I understand it is the beaches are now for residents and guests only 🤷♂️

We've been vacationing in North Beach since 2008. You need a beach pass or cash to use the main beach. Don't even attempt to go to Brownie Beach,absolutely NOBODY but residents allowed. Don't even try to turn your car around if you get lost, the neighbors literally yell at you that it's "Private"😂. Over the years a lot of the shops by the boardwalk have closed.Others are waiting for permits- this year was pretty disappointing. Seems like the town has died a bit,almost like the residents do not want vacationers🤔 So, is it a good place to move too,depends on what you're looking for🤷♀️

Average is around 1800/mo but it depends on a lot of factors. How many beds/baths are you looking for?
