I've seen a video tutorial from Jenny Doan from the Missouri Star Quilt Co., where she makes a Harry Potter pillow case with her grandson. Also I saw another lady make throw blankets for her grandsons, using basketball print fleece fabric, and she embroidered their names on one corner. Very cute too. You just have to find out what superheroes or other things they're interested in, and think pillows, blankets, pencil pouches, drawstring backpacks, or something like that.

Love your ideas, Nikki. I'm making some last minute bunnies to put in a small basket as decoration, and I made bunny ears napkin rings using 2" wood rings that I bought at Hobby Lobby (6 for $2.99), and pieces of fabric I had. Came out very cute. Hey, I'm secretly making some cute stuffed animals to save in case I have grandchildren, hehe. Now we need some of your lovely ideas for the 4th of July, to honor celebrate this great nation of ours which our current president shows so much disregard for. So how can we get patriotic here with our sewing machines?

Your bunnies sound so cute! We're a military family, my husband has been in the Army for 21 years, so I'd love to work on a patriotic sewing video soon :)

@@PinCutSew Great, I can't wait! I loved watching the episodes of Hawaii 5-0, and now we watch Magnum P.I., and we love how they always show so much respect for military veterans. In the last episode, this old vet was in the hospital and he had on his bed a beautiful patriotic quilt, and I thought, oh wow, I wish I knew how how to make quilts, but so far I've only stuck to small projects. After he passed, Magnum and all his buddies put on their uniforms and attended the military funeral. Very beautiful! Congrats to your family, you must be sooo proud! ❤
