This whole realistic preference thing feels like the Wind Waker all over again. People don't pay attention to the amount of detailing put into the art, they just see it as "cartoony" so they immediately disregard it. This style is really well done I think, and an engaging compromise between the MCU and the comic book design of each.

@@howardjones1388 Yep Doctor Doom was playable in MUA1 not MUA2. And XML2 was the last of these games that came out on gamecube but it didn't include any exclusive characters. Only the PSP, PC, and N-Gage versions did.

Hairy AssBurgers The CEO was known to be a sexual harasser, but there’s no proof, only rumors, so I doubt Disney killed the game on that alone. It’s more that the game went to shit for like a year+. False promised, late updates, stripping down core features to make the game playable on consoles, exclusive content for consoles only, which is a big fuck you to their loyal PC fanbase that actually supported the game. After David Brevik left, the game went down the wrong path.

I really hope they don't focus too heavily on MCU content. What made the previous games so fun for me (especially the first one) was seeing all the obscure portions of the Marvel Universe. Outside of the traditional heroes and villains we always see there are a ton of weird and interesting characters and locations. Oh and Marvel Heroes Omega was essentially an Ultimate Alliance game and I absolutely loved it while it lasted. Really bummed that it's gone now.

From the name I'd guess it could possibly be like the Heroic/Cosmic trials from Marvel Heroes Omega. They were basically just insanely hard battles with a few waves of enemies that, once completed, would unlock the higher difficulty modes for normal missions.

@@RaVisions Nintendo is publishing it and Team Ninja, a Koei-Tecmo development studio, are the ones behind the game. Marvel approached Nintendo with their idea to bring back Ultimate Alliance because they thought it would be a perfect fit for Switch (similar to how Spider-Man ended up on PS4). Without the Switch, Marvel would have probably never looked into bringing the IP back at all. People should honestly just be grateful this game even exists. Meanwhile, I've been over here praying for a The World Ends with You sequel for 11 years, and it probably still isn't going to happen. I wouldn't care if it was being funded by Microsoft and was an Xbox exclusive, as long as that meant the game was actually going to happen! As a wise man once said, "follow games, not consoles". I hold true to that philosophy, and other people could try learning from it. Sorry if this came off as ranty, and I don't want to target any specific individual, I just wanted to get this point across (this wasn't aimed at you by-the-by, I'm just following up on your reply).

SunshineScam - just like the old games, you always have a squad of four. AI plays whoever isn’t controlled by a human and players can switch between characters at any time as long as another human isn’t already controlling them.
