I saved time by donating stuff I don’t need/use and cleaning up immediately. Having an organized and functional environment allows me to be more productive and not get distracted by clutter. Do not feel guilty about getting rid of things. You deserve to have a life that is easier and meaningful to you!
@natashatheresaАй бұрын
Yes this is sooo true! I love having less stuff, still need to declutter more but so much better than it used to be!!

I had to quit being my friends' therapist. lol. You can be there for people. But you shouldn't take their problems as your own.

Oh gosh yes this also was something I had to do as well! Like, I can listen, I can offer advice if they ask, but I can’t take the load onto myself hahaha. Thanks for sharing!!

Yes !!! More TIME SAVING HABITS !!! There are more than enough ppl regurgitating the same crap about how to save money, but TIME is more valuable. 🙏🏾

Back in the Palm Pilot days, there was a great software called Life Balance. What made it unique was that you could set what projects were important to you. And it would shift your schedule by importance. You could also set it to hide tasks by time, so you would see "go to the library" only when the library was open. I don't know of any equivalent programs. Make sure,when you put things on a list, that it's clear what you need to do to accomplish the task.

Go ahead and make a loop of that "YOU NEED TO LEVEL UP IN LIFE" and send that to me at erratic intervals, or about at 1 PM when I start getting useless.

Hey Tasha, what you said made so much sense, I really miss the days before everyone had a phone, we've gained a lot of convenience, but have lost a lot in terms of true communication, meaningful interaction, initiative, patience & the list goes on...
@natashatheresaАй бұрын
Yeah I remember when I’d wait in line with my friends and we would just … talk, or play a word game lol. We found ways to pass the time that felt way more… quality. But those days are gone and so it’s up to us to individually decide how intentional we want to be with our time, ugh, personal responsibility hahahahahahahhaa. Thanks for watching!!!

Hi Natasha! 😊 After a very busy and stressful couple of years, I started saying “no” to more things. I’m still just as busy, but less stressed because my time is now (mostly) filled with things I actually want or need to do, rather than things that other people want me to do. I felt guilty about giving up my volunteer role at my kid’s school, but I just couldn’t fit it in when I had to get a paid job. I realised how many hours I was working for free, while struggling for money! My priorities were all wrong.
@natashatheresaАй бұрын
yessssss this is so liberating to be able to do!! and then, you don't feel like you are dragging your feet to do certain things b/c you intentionally chose those things!! of course we want to volunteer and help but you are right - we have to make sure we're meeting our own needs first. Thanks for sharing!!

I can't watch shows that are too dark or stressful. Especially ones with a lot of unnecessary drama and conflict that is almost entirely manufactured and based on bad communication. It just stresses me out. I don't think there is anything wrong with watching a show but yeah it's just filler. That can be filled with a lot of different things that you could be doing. Just don't be too hard on yourself. It's okay to 'waste' time but never stop trying to fill those gaps with something better either.
@natashatheresaАй бұрын
Agreed! I get too emotionally invested in certain types of shows so I just stay away from them. But also yes, I think watching tv is fine as long as you don’t binge all the time and still have the time to do other things in life hahahaha.

It's surreal when a series hits home over stuff like this why did a Asian comic have to call many peoples insecurities out "Wanna know what I was doing before coming here nothing I have not done a single thing worth mentioning I had all the time" "I talk a big game yet I complain like the best of them like its my job or something" I had to watch about six hours for this

Very nice video! I've wasted so much time watching Instagram Reels because I'm doing Catsitting as a little side job. And what else is there to do when the cat is just chilling but you need to spend a bit more time with them? Bought an E-Reader so I can fill the time with things I actually like. At least I'm doing progress on a good book and no endless Reels. I love your videos, they're so much fun to watch. (I though the Matcha Link was a joke but it's actually there haha. It was so random 😂)

I had to quit keeping everything in my head. I had in my head all of the furniture that my mom needed for her assisted living and what next thing(s) I needed to do like get a small moving company, make sure I packed everything I could for her and on and on. It was affecting my sleep for about a week I only got about 4 hours every night. Now that it is done I am getting much better sleep. I hated being a zombie but, just in time for Halloween. LOL.

I want to thank you for your videos. Ever since I saw you get up from the floor, and I thought I could do the same but realizing I cothsn't do that anymore was a wake up call. I've been sleeping on a very firm surface, and my hip tenderness has gone. My lower back is loosening up, and I am able to walk without pain. It's making me consider getting rid of my bed. This is day 3 on a firm surface. I roll around a lot, but I, somehow, still end up feeling fresh and spritely when I wake up even if I feel tired.

Habits are difficult to break, especially the addictive ones. Personally, I'm against taking a phone into a bathroom, too many germs to be transferred to the phone, nope! I do spend too much time on my phone/tablet, guilty. I don't watch that much TV, I'd rather watch You Tube Channels I'm subscribed to instead. I do watch Shark Tank on Friday nights. I have the Tv on in the back ground for the news when I'm awake. I quit smoking nasty cigarettes 18 years ago, not only a nasty habit but time consuming; always taking a break to have a smoke, wasted so much time.
