Ripping man! Good tips, I've got a lot of noise in one of my quads. I think it's because I'm powering the Mach3 off the vcc and ground of the FC instead of straight to the ESC. I'm going to try powering the cam off the VTX like you said too, usually I power my cams of the FC.

Nice, yeah if your VTX has a 5V output I would suggest powering your camera from that. Thanks for watching dude!

My fpv feed breaks up at about 50 meters on 350 mw, is this normal? Help would be much appreciated. 👍

You shouldn't get breakup at 50 meters away unless there are obstructions in the way like trees or buildings. Make sure you power levels are where they say they are and make sure all your antennas are connected properly. Good luck!

So I bought nazgul 5 V2 And I've been playing it for like a month and then I just started getting bad VTX signal. Like when I either punch the throttle or go somewhat behind a tree it gets black lines and basically loses all of VTX signal. I replaced the FR sky rxsr receiver antennas Because they were kind of disconnecting from the receiver and I thought that was why I was getting bad signal. That didn't help. So I just bought a new pigtail connector that goes from the VTX to where the antenna connects. Hopefully that fixes it. If not I'm going to troubleshoot using this video

That’s interesting you lose signal when you punch the throttle. That makes me think It might have something to do with the power coming into the VTX. If the new pigtail doesn’t work, you may want to try and re-solder all the joints on the VTX and the flight controller if you can. Going through the steps in this video will also help! Could be an issue with a specific pad the wires might be on. Trying different pads may solve the issue. Lots of options so keep me posted, we’ll figure it out 🤘

@@CGKFPV Well I have a succex F4 800mw vtx from inflight. It doesn't actually solder into anything. It plugs into the VTX and the other end plugs into the flight controller.

@@CGKFPV will do. The pigtail connector comes in the mail tomorrow so let's hope it fixes it. Because I just did exactly what your video says to do and I just test flew it and nothing changed.

I bounce between the immortal L that Mr Steele uses (mounted similarly to how he does) and also the VAS 900mhz (not the flexible but one but the slightly more rigid one... it’s black) antenna which I just attach to the bottom of the back stand offs. Thanks for watching 🤙

Great help!! Love your idea about taking off smart audio, for one its pain in ass to set up, and for 98% of people you never use it! Like you ripping around the car park are you going to have to change channel ? Great channel

Ground for ESC? I'm not sure what your referring to. I've never had any issues with needing to ground the esc. Thanks for watching!

+1👍 thanks for the knowledge 💪 i always twisted + and -, but i guess i was doing the wrong ones :/ shorter main leads might help too, or at least that's what i was told, never really tested.

Yes! The shorter the battery leads the less noise will get around. Glad you found some useful info! Thats my goal
