The problem is just overthinking. Ya overthink every little thing. 😅 Just be calm, friendly and interested and you'll be alright. Find someone as weird as you, as normal as you, on the same wavelength as you and you'll be in a partnership in no time.❤

I used to have crippling social anxiety before i started working. So bad that i couldnt go up to someone and the words i wanted to say would be blocked in my throat cause it felt like i was having an allergic reaction to talking. You know the feeling. It feels like your throat is closing up and you start sweating and your breathing gets short. 😅 I was down bad. But when you really put your mind to it and you keep trying and trying eventually you will get better. The only trick here is not giving up hope nor giving up on yourself. Keep seeking out your own happiness and you'll find it.

Thank you for sharing about your social anxiety! How are you doing now? Do you feel like you are much better at dealing with social anxiety? If you could give anyone your personal favorite tips, where would you start?
@ChristinaMoralesMindfuqed

@@Psych2go I am 1000% better at it. Funny thing about anxiety is that I learned the most important thing is to remember anxiety is apart of your natural adrenaline function. (The fight, flight and freeze instinct) There is no magical way to get "rid" of anxiety, you can only control it. The best tips i can offer are these: 1. BELLY BREATHING Breathe with your stomach, not your chest. This deep breathing technique is the same breathing we did as infants when we first popped out the womb. It is super soothing and can calm the shakes you experience. (I did this when i was having an anxiety attack just sitting in silence in my room) 2. GROUND YOURSELF Use your senses. Focus on what you see around you, smell, hear, feel. Touch the things around you. Grip them with your hands. They are real. Name the things you sense. Grounding yourself can remind you that you are not on a plane of nothingness. You're alive. 3. MANTRAS Remind yourself with positive words that nothing can harm you. "I am safe. I am real. I am here. Nothing is going to hurt me. This is not an emergency." Mantras are great coping mechanisms to assure yourself. These are phrases that can help ground you. I repeat these over and over again until I come back to reality. Anxiety is so tough to deal with and the only thing tougher than it, is you. We all have the capability of overcoming this anxiousness. Our greatest tool is believing in ourselves that we CAN do it. The more we work on it, the closer we get to controlling it. I have done these things for well over 5 years. Nonstop training and exposure therapy, just on my own. It has also helped when I can focus on others and be mindful that they exist too and I'm not going through this on my own.

@@ChristinaMoralesMindfuqed there is an enjoyment and self accomplishment on talking, moving and expressing yourself with ease and honest that is so fresh and carefree that others feel good at it too, and once i felt like that i really wanted and desired to control and free myself of my social anxiety, cuz i knew that this is the one thing that everyone else more or less have been experiencing in their daily life, and i value its importance so much. I no longer want to feel limited since then, we just need to be wise about our decisions, needs, actions, but we should try to go outside those fear/limiting walls cuz they are not completely rational at all.

@@ChristinaMoralesMindfuqed I was the exact same as you. The feeling of being anxious, it's awful. Since I started working a couple years back I've slowly got better and better since, had to force myself to interact with more people and go out(mostly there now but not quite). I realised you've just got to chill out and talk to people openly whether that's dating or not. What's the worst that can happen if two people don't see eye to eye? You just won't build a relationship/friendship with that person then find someone else more similar.

Quit dating, years ago, because Contemp was all I got. So, honestly looking inward, I'm not capable of having a relationship. Some of us are made to do it alone, no matter how much those feelings creep up. Being strong enough to stay the course, not break down, and be yourself are all difficult, but necessary.

naw if u made to be alone those feelings wont creep up. usually ppl meant to be alone show signs during adolescence, sometimes even younger. if its a struggle it aint it. ppl crave companionship in nature, so the exception being not craving companionship is out of the ordinary.

It doesn’t matter what the beginning of your story is like. The pages before you are blank. You are the one who gets to decide what is written. It is a story you will constantly revisit as you shape your path. You will discover interests hidden around the next corner, or the next. So keep going. Tumble into this realm as often as you like. Write your story. Start where you are. And change the ending.

@@Matthew_080 I'd say focus on yourself first. You don't have to rush into relationships just so you can say that you are in one. However, if you practice on your own technique and give it time, the fish will start biting until you get the big one."

@1stnamebutnolast
@1stnamebutnolast Жыл бұрын
i mean what do they wanna do - they have no options? theres always options, unless theyre seriously handicapped. if thats the case, not much that can be done there except cherish what they got. otherwise theres options. but before any of that they need to love and understand themselves first; u dont just jump into a relationship lookin for someone to fill in your void - thats for u to do urself. once they can love themselves - which will show in the outer - then they can look for a relationship. if theyre new and awkward they should start off on the online dating - every1s on there looking for the same thing, so theres no 'initiation' making it all easier. learn from those interactions and if need be or whenever ready move on to real world setting and go from there. thing about it, theres a loooot of ppl out there lookin for romance and having love troubles, more than one might think. so theres a lot of options.

It depends on the standards. Also, it is entirely possible to be better off single than in a bad relationship. Furthermore it is to be pointed out that it is easier to feel undesirable when one isn't feeling like they are getting attention. Unfortunately the expectations of people have just skyrocketed as a result of the internet and all the access to information that such has brought - including in the form of dating apps. This is as nice as I can put this - but there is a definite disparity that exists in dating - as quite indirectly alluded in the video itself. I will say this though - beauty may be in the eye of the beholder - but it is entirely possible for the eye to be blind to beauty - having forgotten what to look out for. Not that this is necessarily a comfort.

I feel a bit stereotyped by the whole heteronomative thing you mentioned 😅. Sure, it happens with other people who are horny or what have you, but when it's a real date, I don't think one would do that unless they're a total, well dick lol. Then again, I don't know if I can relate because despite being heterosexual, I do find certain things that a hetero male isn't suppose to find hot like male genitals (just the genitals, not the guy) and being submissive and wanting to be pegged and dominated by the female. Anyone else can relate? Edit: Oh, and before anyone says I'm Bi, I don't think I am since I'm not into guys at all despite what I mentioned. I heard that sexuality is a spectrum, but I don't know. Feels kinda odd.

As parents or not. I've read they are like sponges and absorb behaviour/words more deeply than adults to the point it influences their personality. Maybe it could be useful to talk about children particularities like this one. ( Nobody is training adults to get a degree for rising ( or dealing with) kids despite everything, will influence the adult they will become) Ofc education is personal regarding choices and cultures but there might be basics rules or ways that can applie to everyone. - About tolerance. With the increasing multiculturalism, we have to deal more and more with the difference of each others. It is scary or uncomfortable for some people and lead to intolerance or borderline words/behaviour. On the same wavelength : - How to deal with people from different religions ( this topic has become so sensitive, it could be nice to have reminders that religion is mainly a personal story and shouldn't be a reason to start thinking/acting bad about someone) - Ways to deal when kids/teens are bullied/harassed on social media ( from close people / or strangers ) I have many other things coming in head but it's maybe off your purpose or you might have covered them already Anyway thank you to have taken into consideration my feedback ☺️ and even if everything I've mentioned doesn't suit, I'm glad you can be so open and "reachable" to give to your followers this possibility of suggestion. Maybe other followers will dare to suggest more if they read how connected you guys are with us. ☺️ Thank you again for your channel 🎁

Is not dating for 10 years a super long time? 4:19 If I feel too busy and distracted in my life, will I have time for dating? I feel like I have accidentally fallen into this group of guys who don't date anymore. I do want to date, I guess I just keep putting it off. Weird, since I always pictured myself getting married one day.

If you don’t know yourself or what you want don’t date until you figure it out (I probably shouldn’t be giving dating advice I’ve never been on a date)

i have a crush on this guy in my grade and i really like him! he has just a vibe that matches mine and i really want to get to know him.. but ive never talked to him. He sits with the popular kids even though hes not that popular himself (ive actually heard not many people like him) and im a friendless quiet kid with crippling social anxiety so i dont know how to talk to him I WISH HE WOULD JUST TALK TO ME ;-; and yk whats worse, i dont share any classes with him and ive liked him for like 3 years. i dont know what to do. im not sure how to speak to him.

Have you ever talked with this person? Even in a casual capacity? As in - do they know that you exist? Do you know anything that you both have in common? That could be a good talking point and excuse to invite him to do something together. ^_^ Do you know 'why' people tend to not like him? Might help make you aware of something that you might otherwise not see.

The reason i can’t date is literally because no one want’s me. My gender and sexuality just turn everyone off from me… i’m trans and nonbianary(They/him) but because i was cursed with a body of a girl literally no one will date me. My sexuality is also stupid because i am pan and demisexual(meaning you like all genders but can’t develop sexual feelings unless close with the person) People just rush me for things i’m no where ready for so idk what’s the point of dating if people don’t want you for something you can’t control….
