I see it as if you don't find me attractive physically your judging and guessing something I am not but when you get to know me personally or just starting to know me, you see that your wrong and you feel bad for it when I'm sitting there giggling because I love it when people are wrong about me which is all the time Physical appearance is not the same as who you are and there are so many people that mistake other people for who they are just by the way they look Truth But this video is also true which I'm happy about, instead of them trying to figure you out, you are giving them hints to who you really are.... I recommend on doing this in order to at least have a chance with someone because them guessing who you are is going to make you a "bad person" in their eyes so it's always better to talk about yourself Phycology speaking, all your really doing is giving someone a chance to be with you without the uncomfortable feeling is what the video really is saying😂 Apologize for the long comment, it's almost 11 O'Clock at night and my brain works more during the night than the day and I get off topic as anyone that reads this can tell
@Cons_882 жыл бұрын
"Similarly attractive". This one doesn't really make much sense as physical attraction is in the eye of the beholder and dependant on individual preferences and "types". How do you measure and compare if someone is similary as attractive as you are? I understand the point around sharing similar features but not the statement around physical attraction.
@Psych2go4 ай бұрын
That's a great distinction to bring up. Everyone is different, so individual differences do exist. When talking about similarity, it would be more along the axis of personality traits, background etc. Though similarly attractive people do attract each other, other factors play a role too.

(Kinda long but I'm trying my best to give some advice, TL;DR attract someone after you know them a bit first, if you're ready to psychologically attract someone you're probably already willing to make friends, so it should be easy for you, just figure them out first, if you notice any red flags about them then just keep them as friends, I knew some people I thought were cool at first that turned out to be not so cool, I was lucky that I didn't bother trying to be close friends with them or anything like that) You might not want to attract someone, do it if you think they're worth it, don't fall to desperation and just try to attract anybody, that's how the bad things happen, I know it's easy to say "if you think they're worth it" because to think that means you have to get to know them a bit first, which is a challenge in and of itself, but I think it's worth keeping your distance at first, try and figure them out and if you think they're good then go for it, if it goes south then that's just what happens, wasn't your fault in the moment you decided to get closer to them. Just avoid the first pitfall if you can, it's the easiest one, the future is unfortunately quite blurry beyond first impressions, and people change over time you might like each other for a few years and eventually one of you might start losing interest, if someone's losing interest I truly don't know if there's a way to recapture that interest, I've never been in a relationship but even trying to keep friends around has been difficult for me, it's hard to keep friends around because either you or they have grown bored, and yeah, some people are that hollow and hollow people are the only types I've met, most friends should stay around no matter what, but relationships go how most of my friendships have gone, they rot and erode with time. But you know there's always exceptions to the rule, even if you get that far countless times and something goes wrong there'll probably be someone who sticks around eventually, it's just a war of attrition, take my words with a grain of salt though I have no dating or relationship experience, all by choice, life's been kind of mercilessly attacking my mental health for the past few decades, and I don't have my future figured out yet, the assault has ended but I still need to figure things out, I don't think anyone would want to stay with a guy who can't support himself. I would consider dating someone right now, because I'll be honest I think my mental health and soul need it, but I've got too many other things to worry about still, priorities everyone.

having androgenous sides is sexy, calling people by their name, being kind, having open and relaxed body language, always be learning, letting others know well that you like them, ask questions, show your sincere positive emotions, use open and relaxed body language. listen intentionally, repeat their sentences, take the step to first contact with someone, give genuine compliments, look at the positive side of things, let people talk about themselves, mirror their body language when its not too obvious, making some clumsy mistakes is attractive. Pay attention to grooming well and dressing well and having good hygiene. Make eye contact. wear red items. smell like vanilla or/and floral scents. Whenever you can genuinely smile, make the most of it. say thanks when they do something kind. sit beside them not in front. risk a feather light touch but do it openly and truly, not creepy and greedy. make jokes laugh at jokes. flirting is about showing your positive unconditional interest in another person. be vulnerable, you'll win by losing too, in the long term. the last one might be the most important to remember. take flirting as lighthearted thing. it is not manipulating but enjoying energy. that's our freedom :)

(I promised her we'll go when I get better at running. We got out once but it was with my ex too. Since I'm speaking with her deskmate a lot, my ex just ignores me or talks a Little bit when we're talking, before she would hate me. After two longterm failed relationships I am on my own for some years. My partners were all the time respectful to me and I was the same way to them. It all just ended because the real passion was almost never there. Does love really exist in a deeper way? I think so but until this day it is hard to believe for me. I like my own companionship and I am not waiting or looking for someone. The thought of confusing real love with trying and failing makes me not very optimistic. I can rely on myself and really miss someone in my life. What I don't miss is the uncertainty about it all. It holds me really back. It is not very romantic but reality was and is just me and some people to talk to every now and then. I think that it is great that there are people that talk to me and vice versa.

Yeah, all of this works...IF YOU'RE CONNECTED ALREADY! I'm sorry but so many wanna just be texting pals first to get something going and I don't have patience for it.

"ask out someone whos similarly attractive as you" well I'm outta luck then...I'm not attractive at all so gonna either stay single or find someone who I'm not attracted to

I admit that this suggestion sounds daunting for less confident people. However, being attractive is not only having a symmetrical face, a very fit body or other similar matters. One of ny best friends has never lacked individuals who wanted her, and has been single only when she chose. She is very attractive due to how she comes across and how she feels. Her face and her figure are not unpleasant but not even her mum could say she has a pretty face. Her body is ok without going too far there. But she has that something you have when you believe you deserve care and love the same as everybody else. And that has always worked better for her than conventional beauty others I met had. So find out who you really are and how you feel good. Treat yourself well & dont let others treat u worse. You will feel better. This will help your self esteem and it will make you a bit more attractive. Then others gravitate towards you. And you will feel more attractive. This wiil increase your attractiveness further. Blessings🙏❤

@@ansonruan6529 i am really a sis☺and if you read the rest I made clear she was very attractive and successful at getting male attention. The point was to show that someone can be attractive even not fitting trad criteria. I was trying to be encouraging but I am afraid it wasnt that clear. 🙆

What you like a guy and don't want to 1. Ruin your friendship and 2. Not have it work out in the end from how young we are since people my age don't have stable relationships as often people who are in their 20s do?

Using psychology on someone is negative. It's a form of being untrustworthy because you are manipulating their thoughts to form an opinion. Usually the one YOU want them to have. Even if its a tiny form of psychology.. it can lead to a serious problem and you can end up losing the trust you had from the people you love!

This is the first time I'm seeing this video. I did all of the first four dots mentioned since it is natural for me before I found out that he already has a girlfriend. Needless to mention that is where everything stopped. I still can't accept that and I realise it only now. And all of this happened after I quit the idea of dating many years ago. I honestly don't know will I ever be able to get over this guy
