in the next to last story i was like that was either the wife's dead body smelling and those were his kids down in the basement but why didn't you call the police???? well maybe he left the door open to the basement as he ran away so whoever was down there could get out finally. sheesh! ofc its easy to say that when you're not a kid and when you're just listening to the story!

@lauriej.3544
@lauriej.3544 5 жыл бұрын
The most obvious and likely explanation is that Z's wife and kids never left that house. The talking was imprisoned people, his family, and the dark figure was some homeless guy or acquaintance who was helping Z imprison his family for a place to stay. Z probably decided to leave the situation and let his young neighbor discover his prisoners and have it blamed on the dark cloaked guy.

Do you change the wording to all of these stories? They all seem like they were written by the same person. When ppl tell true stories lije these.. they dont use words to discribe everything like a novel
@Stopstaring101
@Stopstaring101 5 жыл бұрын
Canadian Guitarist I love “Let’s Read” and am pretty loyal to him. BUT! I agree w you. I’ve also noticed the wording several times being the same in obscure ways that would indicate the same writer. Not always... but often enough for me to notice. I wondered many times, as you have, if he changes the wording to fit his narration better 🤷🏻‍♀️ I mean, he must right? It’s just too much of a coincidence.

The phrase "my stomach dropped" or a variation of it seems like a staple phrase on this and other channels like it. It doesnt bother me but almost all of these stories have that moment. Also I think old Zeke was keeping somebody in that basement

They are as*holes for not filing a report with the police. They even saw the couple's harassing other people and still didn't bothered to tell the police and then were upset by the fact that the hotel couldn't do anything because.. they didn't file a police report. If you find yourself in a dangerous situation with dangerous people call the cops, to at least get a paper trail it will make it much easier for the cops to do something and stop the criminals from hurting someone else. If someone gets hurt because you didn't want to take the time to file a police report then your part of the problem.

The story about car accident and been chased by 3 me with weapons was clearly a girl whom over exaggerating a one sided scenario. Lets overthink on the possible situation of the three mens point of view lol. A car has tragically landed in their private property. The men Wales over to assure everything is alright, they see no one but then notice someone running off in the distance as sketchy as ever and have no idea what that is all about:. When looking through the vehicle they see it possibly belongs to someone who looks like a decent human but touting two and two, the person running was not so decent and had no reason to run, so maybe only reasonable inclusion, THE CAR IS STOLEN! Therefore, why not rummage the vehicle for what may be of value to them, oh and uncle Tim is missing the inside roof light bulb to his Nissan Maxima and it looks like this one might just fit! Lol sometimes people over think, and their over thoughts are so one minded!

The story with the men visiting their uncle in Florida and him having a neighbor named Leo sounds like two grown men who need to mind their own business. Nothing they said sounded bad. They are just acting entitled because they are used to hanging out with the guy who lived there before and now a guy who doesn't want to hang out and is more reserved lives there. There is nothing weird about an old man working on a project at night. it might have looked weird but you don't know what it was. Everything else was him changing the house from how your friend had it and not being super into you

@Lets Read! YESSSSS!!! OMG! You did it!!! I wasn’t sure if you’d actually keep that last part in. You’re seriously the best! Hahaha. I started laughing so hard because unless people were on the podcast, they’re not going to understand the laundry part.
