I’m 33 YO Once I was driving suddenly I discovered myself in a hospital’s bed. My wife was crying beside me. I had no clue what happened to me and why I was in the hospital. Later I got to know that I had a seizure while driving. After that I did an eeg and got to know that I’ve developed epilepsy. Ps: I’ve never had this disease in my life. I had covid in 2021 and I became an epileptic since 2022. Now um under medication which is working fine but it has side effects too. Like hair falls, hand tremors. Keep me in your prayers.

My mom has tonic seizures and it’s very hard to deal with, it’s scary and makes my cry. My mom actually had one last night, tonic seizures usually(not all the time) happen when something freaks you out or you cut your self. For example , when my mom had her seizure my brother had just got home from snowboarding and brown his collar bone so she was feeling around at it and all the sudden she had a seizure and it was because she felt a spot and it was gushy and my brothers pain reaction also freaked her out so she had a seizure. Her eyes rolled back into her head and her face was completely red. It was extremely scary especially because it was only my second time witnessing my mom having a seizure. If this happens with a friend or family member it’s best for you to let them lay on their side and not their back because they can choke on their tongue, you have to hold them up and talk to them saying stuff like “I love you” “stay with me” and “your okay” and after immediately get a bowl and water, they will throw up and usually will have diarrhea. Don’t be scared and try not to freak out, make sure to always check on them after because you never know if they can have another seizure or not. After they are down throwing up and having diarrhea they will feel very sick and will fall asleep quickly. Get them to a bed and let them sleep, lay down with them to comfort them. Usually after a tonic seizure they will wake up and repeat “what happened” they won’t remember anything for a quick second, you have to talk to them and let them come back to the world on their own. Once their ready, I suggest getting a warm bath or something, give them a banana or toast, make some peppermint tea and just sit with them to comfort and bring them back. They’ll most likely sleep for a bit and then still feel sick but not as sick as they did before. The next day they’ll be fine and they can go back to work or school. Hope this helped for anyone scared about tonic seizures! Have a nice day!!

The beginning of this video is mine. My eyes blink like crazy and my eyeball movement is all over the place. I am fully aware and can talk through it, but as I say to my family and my neurologist "I can't control my eyes" Specifically visually what I see during that timeframe is movement that rhythmically goes from top to bottom like window blinds, but constant movement top to bottom. So hard to explain. Every time I've had an EEG it shows I'm having a seizure, but until this new visual started happening, I just did not believe it. He showed me the EEG this past week. He initially diagnosed me with complex partial seizures, but I just didn't know why because my family wasn't realizing that I was having any type of seizure . This visual type is fairly new . I made a video to show my doctor. What happens . Does this sound familiar to anyone?

@firebladetenn66336 ай бұрын
@@SitaKumari-s4e I dunno if there is medicine for dogs. But perhaps ask a vet what kind of diet he could have that may make it better. Some foods can actually make things a little easier for seizures to happen even in humans. Some make it less likely. Plenty of sleep and be careful about overheating or dehydration as a must for humans so perhaps for dogs too. If he hasn’t been neutered yet then you may want to change that. It will help lower the chance of seizures for animals. But you might wanna ask a vet before you try any of this. Everyone, even dogs, are all different.

Now he is like he was before. he still have seizures but he didn't had a Status epilepticus. it was so horrible. they give them all the most powerful meds while he was in induced coma. phebarbital, ketamine. Partial seizures are missing. Otherwise this is very helpful, but now I have a new question about epilepsy seizures. Can you have more than one type of seizure in a row or every other day? They like to switch up on me. Lol
@yuuokami21564 ай бұрын
Actually, technically it wasn't missing. There's two major categories of seizures. Generalized and focal. with the exception of Absence and TCS(tonic clonic) the others can be focal. Focal is partial seizures. I have myoclonic seizures but they are typically focal and more often effecting my right arm. I also have tonic seizures but again, they are focal. Effecting my throat and my head forcefully turns to the right. This is one of the reasons I have no history of injuries because Tonic seizures are more commonly generalized. That's why people can fall even when it's just a tonic seizure.

No, Atonic is a loss of muscle tone. There's no stiffing involved.

I had myoclonic seizures frequently,then it changed into tonic seizure And after consulting doctor,I have been eating tablets like levpil,valproic acid... Alhamdulillah I'm fine now Can you tell me the reason why I got 2 diff types of that? Or is it normal to have like that?
