Smoothing seems to be getting a bad reputation. But that is a great way to clean up the display to focus.

Right! I should have demoed that. I did look at it myself and did not find it to be helpful in this situation, but at this point I'm almost always looking at 24dB/oct smoothing, so I guess it does help me...constantly. :)
