I am high in emotional intelligence but don't have general knowledge such as street knowledge etc. It's attractive when the guy knows stuff about his area etc. And everything you said is true. Hate rules, hate fake people, I also don't like goody two shoes that look down on rule breakers. I love it when people are fun and badass but in a good way. I the more I learn about ENFPs I'm coming to the conclusion that they're kind of like introvert/extrovert hybrids- much like their mirrored counterpart INFJ. Most extroverts don't even sense people sapping their energy, but every ENFP I know needs time alone to recharge like an introvert and has mistyped as INFJ at times, simply because of a need for more alone time during that season of their life. On the flipside, INFJs though introverted admittedly LOVE people and connections more than most introverts. Before I ever typed as an INFJ I thought I was extroverted, but just extremely shy. It wasn't until I started working as a dispatcher and had to talk to people all day every day that I realized how drained I was after months of minimal recharging.

I disagree. It’s a good match initially, because “opposites attract” but you’ll soon find out ENFPs are much more focused on validation from their external world. That goes very far away from INTJ lone wolf standard. That said I have dated so many ENFPs that I noticed some are more in need of validation than others, it is not a standard. Personality isn’t a standard truly. Entj, Entp or a very relaxed ENFP is a good match. Dig into the person not just the surface face value. I noticed working with personality people come in all flavors and colors, while there are some super independent ENFPs there might be some super dependent ENFPs and match with a certain set of people better than others.

My intuition and feeling values have never changed over the years. They are the highest possible...like a person on a seesaw without anyone else on the other end...idealism with a large dose of realism attached. ENFP here.. Extremely picky and not at all interested in having a serious romantic relationship with anyone unless I’ve known them for a very long time and fully know, unconditionally love and trust them, and vice versa. There’s just way too many creepy people in this world to be rushing into any type of relationship, whether work pals, friends, casual flings, or more. Staying single is perfectly fine for me and maybe the best scenario, as my independence, alone time, and freedom are a must. I agree that a life partner would need to be independent and a positive influence, but also always learning, growing and improving, as well as adventurous enough to be willing to join me on my adventures, which are never ending and thus requires a very special person to keep up. Realistically not expecting to meet such a person 😂 and that’s perfectly fine. My life is a fun and fantastic adventure as is. As for my ideal partner, that is an ESFJ (male).

Hey, my brother is INFJ, im ENFP, and its literally the best thing ever when were together, especially having grown up together were unstoppable and just keep generating ideas (both being graphic artists) and deep discussions, and stupid reactions and funny spontaneous jokes. Its that the compatibility is on so many different levels, that both share. Whereas other types may just like me depending on a phase or whatevs, my whole person is understood and executed only when im with him. And its a great feeling for both of us ! Yet, for my ENFP man's happiness, we talk regularly about philosophical dilemmas, social justice, existentialism, etc. We playfully debate. All this gives me more reasons everyday to marvel at his brilliant ENFP mind. --I listen when he lets me know I'm being too controlling, and we now negotiate much better than at the start. Thanks for this video it was helpful. Yes we have the personality types, but then there is the Sun Signs and the moon signs. My last boyfriend was an ENFP Pisces but his moon was in Taurus, so although he was adventurous, he was consistent and highly romantic. Currently I'm interested in another ENFP and he is Capricorn with moon sign of Gemini but this one seems to be a little bit more all over the place, of course because Gemini is an air sign. I am an infj sun in Leo moon in Aquarius.

As an ENFP, I totally agree about the independent part... I was in a relationship with a guy who I thought was independent and had his own friends- but then he had a falling out with them so when I went and did my own things with my friends he got insanely jealous and couldn’t handle it. ENFP: I agree with lots of this: Positive feedback, check. Independence, check. Sillyness- definitely the most important! But independence means that you have a life together and a life separately from one another. I really disagree about the rules thing. I find it more attractive if someone is uncompromising with their values. I think it makes more sense, for all types, to find someone whose shares the same values. Honestly, how is making a vegetarian meat showing love? As an ENFP I expect my partner to support my values and crazy ideas, and so naturally, I want to do the same thing for my person. It seems selfish to say I will only show someone love how it works for me, even if it doesn't work for them. And I have a lot of friends of all genders and if my boyfriend didn't like that, he would not be my boyfriend for very long.

1. yes! 2. yes!! doest mean you're pleasing ENFPs fakely, but this goes hand in hand with 1.: if you're really actively listening and you're being encouraging and if you love them, even if you don't necessarily agree with us, you could still give constructive feedback in a positive tone. 3. yes!! just don't be needy. It's attractive for someone to have their own passion and knows their shit. yes I as an ENFP am very loyal. 4. yes, I am okay to follow rules if they're within my capabilities to do I'll do my best to follow them, and it just has to be "possible" you know. I am an ENFP myself but i have my problems with those kind of videos. Of course, we are drawn to those things. But thinking about this topic like this narrows the brain. I've done a lot of self work, went through tons of pain etc. and now where I am in a quite mature state of mind there is actually only one thing that realy matters. Be who you are. If the feelings are mutual thats the only thing that matters. Because authenticity matters to us but not in which ways it's expressed. Once both parties are who they realy are everything happes in the Wu-Wei way of life. In fact, speakin' from experience, if you are the lovely ENFP personality you are deep down in your heart, without being scared of others judgement about your feelings and values, you will automatically attract INFJs and INTJs (or other types as well if they fit your personality, as i said thats just my experience) and be drawn to them as well. And that's where love realy shines :)

As an ENFP with extreme N and P, I could never be with an S. I am attracted to N's mainly because they are unconventional, out-of-the-box thinkers like me and will be less likely to try and confine me in the box of boundaries that our society makes for us. And yes, showing interest by asking me questions and having good conversational skills is a must. If an ENFP is asking you a lot of questions about yourself they find you interesting and their probably holding back how much they really like you. When we are interested in something we throw all our focus on that thing with intensity. We know this is creepy so we casually play it cool while secretly wishing someone would show that same amount of interest in us. Ha

I believe routines and boundaries are an act of self-love. If you meet a vegan, so what? XD you can take it easy. A rule is if she says "I am vegan, so you be vegan." then obviously no. However, it takes most women a lifetime to learn how to stand up for what aligns for them. If I like to visit my mum on Mondays, I will do so. If you wish to join and maybe have a good time, hallelujah. If you don't wish to join, then you are independent enough to entertain yourself a few hours :) This is coming from an INFJ who's dating an ENFP. Routines elevate his wellbeing, and his carefree attitude helps me relax too :) I agree with all your other comments, but the rules thing is a perspective thing :)
