I'm working towards getting monetized! I'm at 53 watch hours... Still have a long way to go. But I am currently hosting a 4 day challenge and was able to actually charge for that and have people join in. :) Didn't make much from it, but plan to use the recordings for my upcoming membership site. Also, since you have a Diety Mic, I was curious if you noticed sometimes the mic will briefly cut in and out. I'm not sure if that's my mic or just user error, because I don't understand what could be going wrong. Thanks for this video! I'd love to learn more about how much yoga teachers can realistically make working for themselves just through their own membership site and your best tips for running that. Thank you again!

I have the deity pocket wireless, but I don’t use it often. So I can’t say what that problem would be. Keep watching, I’m trying to share as much as I can. Realistically, there is no limit to how much someone can earn with a membership. It’s a great model. Could be hundreds, could be multiple thousands.

do you need insurance or liability if you are teaching completely free or with donations? can someone sue you if you offered them an online free yoga class if they got something?

I would definitely recommend having yoga teacher insurance whether you are teaching free or paid classes. Also, make sure people sign a waiver and also insert disclaimers where ever possible. You'll want to do everything you can to keep yourself and your students safe - free or paid. And yes, they could sue you if they are able to prove that your class was the thing that hurt them. The risk of that actually happening, though? I'm not totally sure. I've heard primarily of claims for instances outside of the teaching itself (someone slips and falls, equipment malfunction, etc). You'd have to speak with a lawyer or an insurance company for better answers.

@@motita6554 Yes, everyone has to check the box to agree to the terms and conditions, which has my waiver information. I'm doubtful people actually read through all of them. And they only have to accept the first time they join. It's good for a year, I think. If I were concerned, I'd also listed a disclaimer in the description and details in the confirmation emails. My morning class is so chill, that I'm not really too worried about causing any injuries in the practice itself. I'd do more if I were teaching advanced practices.

About How much are you currently making in total monthly? Is it worth staring a fitness channel?

In my entire business? Currently between $7k and $10k (before expenses and taxes). I started in 2016 and it wasn't until recently I started earning more of a comfortable full-time income. Is it worth starting a fitness channel? It's tough right now. The market for the fitness industry is super saturated. It's not impossible, but the more specific you can get, the better. And you'll want to give it plenty of time to grow while being super consistent.

My yoga studio earns by selling weapons. They had those weapon wooden boxes in wardrobes...where they hold rifles, so you need to book a yoga class - when purchasing- life on North London ain't easy- sex sell those classes
