So many people think that Asians never have any leftover rice cause we're ASIANS. Wow. Racist much? Cause I'm Asian, and the way my family cooks fried rice is using leftover rice. Cause leftover rice is more dried than fresh, and that dried means no sticky rice. Duh. I actually thought these recipes are pretty clever. I'm not saying that's what all Asians think, I get that some don't have or believe in leftovers. Also the rice pudding.👍👍👍

1.) I would advise putting the left over rice in a tubberware container than plastic bags and putting it in the fridge than the freezer. I cook rice in a rice cooker so I can't say this works for rice cooked in a pot, but rice stays good in the fridge for about a week and sometimes longer, but never for a month. 2.) Old rice is great for cooking fried rice!

sfw Donit most asians (like me) have leftover rice

Some people also intentionally make enough for leftovers - to eat with another meal or turn into another dish. And not just with rice.
@tiramisuaja3346 жыл бұрын
I usually dried my leftover rice under the sun, and fried them, sprinkle some salt on it and YUMM! Very simple yet tasty..

A tip I picked up once : if you have the time, try to marinate meat for a day or two. (counting on the meat) it will taste better and be more juicy.

I overcooked some rice yesterday and the first recipe was perfect for it, I don't like throwing away food. They taste super good, although I didn't use bacon, just some meat.

@angelic75326 жыл бұрын
@Bo Zo was that a joke?
@ilariaf.74215 жыл бұрын
These aren't arancini 😂 if u want to know how real arancini are made just look for and italian recepie, not an american one
@Chapa24.5 жыл бұрын
Making aranncini is a long process. You don’t mix the bread crumbs with the rice when making arancini. You make the rice balls and coat them with the bread crumbs when you fry them.
@jennahilton82595 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing, however, it’s not actually arancini. Arancini is made with leftover risotto, not plain white rice. So they’re similar, but not the same.
