Valeria Lipovetsky my favourite tip for enhancing that natural beauty of the skin is to allow some of that redness we all tend to cover up. A great tip is to put blush pretty much all over your face. Without looking like a tomato🍅 a bit of subtle blush on the brow brown, temples and chin makes you look like you’ve just been out and about in the fresh air!

This was actually much more useful than I thought! I got lots of little tips and tricks! Going minimal on the face products (ie foundation, powders, etc) is always my biggest tip as well. If you put on a thick layer it looks like you are trying to hide something! Letting as much texture poke through as you can makes it look the most natural for sure! Great tips x

My no makeup look is actually not wearing makeup lol But seriously, I used to wear makeup everyday (not a lot but you know, the essentials like foundation, concealer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, lipstick...) but this summer I traveled in Japan and it was sooooooooo hot and humid I couldn't wear makeup, it would just melt right away, especially the foundation! And since then I have been wearing less and less makeup on a daily basis and I actually think I look better that way! I don't wear foundation or concealer anymore and only draw a tiny line of brown eyeliner, put some mascara, soft highlighter and some natural lip tint or lipstick and that's it, it takes me no more than 5 minutes to put makeup on (if I decide to wear makeup that day). Honestly, I think one of the best change was to stop wearing foundation! I was so used to it I didn't realize how uncomfortable it is! Now when I wear foundation I have to moisturize my face more before and I have to constantly remember that I cannot touch my face all the time or wear a light scarf because it might transfer.

I am sorry for salong a random stranger but from your pic it looks like you have naturally dark hair and lashes doesn't look strange to use brown mascara om black lashes like you have dyed them lighter? Not critising here I am sure that it looks super great om you but I just want some feedback in case I should be investing in a brown mascara to my black lashes or not ...?
@TheMsPond4 жыл бұрын
Anya Al don’t be sorry you’re right to ask! Actually the mascara I use is not really a mascara, it is the lash primer from benefit (it exists only in brown) and with this one you don’t have any strange effect at all nope ☺️ I didn’t try other ones that really are mascaras and now that you wrote it I’m sure you’re right and you will see the difference of tint but with the one I mentioned you’re good to go 👌🏼 (and I think you can find it in travel size if you want to try it)

Try considering just curling your lashes and applying clear mascara. Your lashes are already dark enough, so you don't really need to apply any mascara, but if your lashes are straight, curling them will give your eyes a lifted look. Clear mascara will help set the curled lashes!

Honestly I’ve always been hesitant to use a lippie as a blush just because a lot of lipsticks have so many extra ingredients that I worry will damage my skin, but you make it look so possible. Loving the no makeup makeup look you have this natural glow that you really can’t achieve using harsher products ! Definitely will try this brand because we all wanna “‘sweat in the right places” When I do no makeup makeup I always throw on a moisturizer just to give my skin some extra plumpness and I go for my Nivea hydrocare usially as well ! I also always brush out my brows after using a product and will even just use the benefit voluminous gel just to have colour but let the hairs run free in this cold Canadian wind.

Ive mastered this I feel, because even when I wear a full face (where I am, it means foundation, concealer, Powder, blush, bronzer, mascara, brows and lipstick) my strict grandmother/and everyone else cant tell. But Im more of a brows, mascaras, cream lip/blush girl because it takes 10 minutes

for the foundation, i feel like not putting any under my eyes or on my forehead, or just a little bit, helps it to look subtle! i focus it on my cheeks to cover up dark spots :) & mixing it with moisturiser or an oil especially if it’s a matte foundation

Another tip if you want to skip mascara is just to use an eyelash curler for fuller, more defined lashes. I love that you use your lipsticks as blushers and eyeshadows - this is my go-to technique as well since my skin is too dry for powders. Always in love with your tips and tricks videos! They never disappoint. Another tip I would give to achieve the no-makeup look is (if you decide to wear eyeshadow) to try to match the eyeshadow color to your skin's undertones. So for example if you have pink undertones, choose rose and mauve shadows, if you have olive undertones, use browns and gold, etc. That way it will look way more natural!

If you're dealing with acne, the no-makeup makeup look is honestly sometimes better because it helps you embrace those "imperfections" instead of worrying about a completely flawless base. I used to have a lot of breakouts too but then realized than covering it with makeup will only make it worse because all that products clog your pores even more. Even gel moisturizer was too heavy for me. Oddly, the thing that worked for me was getting rid of all that products and makeup. Now I only use water moisturizers: rose water, micellar water, thermal water, and drinking a lot too. And my makeup has been reduced to 4 products.

You have gorgeous eyebrows! Mine are so over-plucked and non-existent. I use a tinted brow mascara/ gel to tame on no- makeup look days.

This was so helpful! I personally don't really like wearing makeup, but I also don't like having my imperfections shown to the world. So many great tips! Thank you Valeria :D

Hi there, I really love your videos, they are always so inspiring and I love this makeup look but does anyone have any tips for someone who has naturally blonde, nonexistent brows and lashes, should I use a light brown in them? Or just a clear product? Please help, thanks.

Can you do a video on facial hair? Like a lot of woman are doing laser hair removal and is it bad for your skin. Or is it better to wax or bleach the facial hair

I love using a shimmery lipstick in a natural shade as blush & highlight in one. Also layering eye cream under my makeup for a shiny undereye. Love this so much. More makeup tutorials to come? Maybe something drugstore would be helpful
