Enjoyed the video. I must say though that the sales numbers tell a different story on Mos Eisley. There is still plenty of sales velocity on EBay and Amazon. There are plenty of EBay sales above retail and recent 3rd party sales on Amazon (when Amazon is out of stock) have hit as high as $500+. That’s hardly signs of a set that’s losing steam!

Well yes, I agree with the sales volume, the price above retail isn't entirely true. Actual SOLD eBay and Bricklink sales in Canada are around $300-400 for New and Used sets, well below retail. I'm not sure if you're in the US, and it's maybe selling for a bit more there?

@@Trimdi’m in the US, and this thing is highly sought after on the 3rd party market, even for a used version of it you’re still going to pay like at least $350-$375 USD, which is crazy considering new is $400, also i think it rarely ever goes on sale if ever in the US

I totally disagree about the diorama cause it's not a playset, and the Cantina will do well nonetheless, for it's fantastic and not going to be remade.

Mos eisley is underrated, its a great set with 9 unique mini figs . I bought one for display and a second at a 40% discount for future investment

It sounds like you might be emotionally viewing the cantina because you bought it early. But, I am happy to have fewer people holding on to it. I don't have any for investing yet - I haven't found it on sale anywhere yet (Texas seems to have crap sales compared to other places). But, I definitely agree with you on the others. I am going to grab a Chewbacca or 2 just because more buildable creatures are coming out and so few investors are grabbing any - but, only if it does go on more of a sale

The buildable Chewbacca could definitely be a sleeper pickup, but I agree, it has to be about 50% before I could consider

I'm betting on the tales of the Young Jedi Characters/sets for the long run. I feel like those characters will be desired when the kids who are growing up with them now get older. I could also see disney developing these characters in the future once today's kids become older.
