That is great advice, I find myself comparing myself to others way too often. I always look at other artists and just envy the success they have found. But I usually take time to step back and look at my own success, I've had a lot more than many and I know many people who wish they had the ability and opportunities I have.

I'm actually doing my research paper on puppy mills! And a lot of pet stores do carry puppy mill puppies:( but the more important thing is that they all get a great home!

Love this vlog! Just as a 'did ya know' and not to harp, they actually have purebred puppies at shelters. I know it has a sad feeling to go somewhere like that as opposed to a pet shop which is exciting but imagine how good it will make you feel to bring home a puppy that otherwise will struggle to have a home.

They do come from puppy mill sadly, but at petco or your local pet store, they sometimes have a thing called Last Chance Adoption. They are rescue dogs. That is where I got my dog and it gets along great with my kids.

Read up on child safety recommendations. If you were to get in an accident with any force, Cooper would fly out of the seatbelt if he's not wearing the shoulder belt. If he's in the front seat, the shoulder belt is right at his neck and would cause serious harm if the airbag doesn't do it. It's irresponsible parenting no matter how you want to rationalize it.

The dogs that need love aren't the puppies in the pet store - it's their mothers and fathers that are locked in puppy mills being mass bred for up to twelve years, and not taken care of physically or mentally. Or the dogs that are in shelters awaiting their death day because people would rather a brand new puppy from a pet store..

I think rescuing a dog is a fantastic idea, but those dogs from pet stores deserve to feel love and companionship. The puppy mills need to be stopped, but those puppies didn't do anything wrong, its humans doing it. it's okay to show all puppies love, no matter where they came from.
