The Dwarf Angles seemed to have won the colour lottery. They all so stunning!

14:20 using a mag float, I like to move it around on the glass once the food starts to settle on the bottom. Like make a circle on the glass to stir up the water inside

Wishing you good luck with all the fish, but especially the Golden Angel. That fish is on my list, so anxious to see how you progress in coaxing that one to eat.
@thomasthecat951Ай бұрын
The golden angel is beautiful!!! Maybe try the small pellets that they feed to clowns when there babies. It’s a specialized food I’m sure you probably have it over there in the states it’s easy to get.

Only thing I have tried in the past was black bin liner around the tank and fixed low brightness light. Then there is very little changing. Like you treat baby fish basically. Look forward to another video tomorrow! - Paul (1.7L Pico Reef Guy)

Also I watched an interview from Elliott from marine collectors and he mentioned he’s had good luck adding singular pieces of live food because it “adds an element of scarcity “ idk never tried it but it’s worth a shot if the angle still isn’t eating. I know you’re posting these a week after filming though so hopefully you’ve had some luck already.

Never succeeded in keeping golden angelfish until I purchased a captive bred. She eats everything..my concoction, easy reefs, mysis/brine shrimp…
@jamiesoper7516Ай бұрын
Use tropical bloodworm for the copperband its normally for freshwater only but they respond to it very well their diet is mostly worms. I feed mine it all the time as do many large public aquariums. Its also red so easy for the fish to distinguish.
@brenninsreefАй бұрын
Have you tried live blackworms? I’ve had luck getting other fish eating with blackworms.

Try live oyster or clams it always works with angels the pick at them right away

Could you put some sand in for leopard wrasse being sand burying?

10:58 looks like they might have an internal parasite with the stringy poop. I have a 800g fish only salt tank and always make sure that my new fish are 100% before I introduce them to my aquarium! I’ve been dealing with fish that have bacterial infection in the states so I would be lucky if it was just an internal parasite 😂
@PrestigeReefАй бұрын
Which fish are you talking about? I can’t see any 💩

@ sorry was mistaken by the food you added 😂

Hi Ryan, where do you get the live mysis from? There looks to be loads in that bag. The ones I usually end with only have about 5 in.

Try adding Garlic to the frozen food, I have had fish that didn't want to eat and the smell of garlic on the food got them eating

How come you need to remove the water from the live food? I didn't realise you were supposed to do that. Is there a risk of disease or something if you just pour it in?
@jhaychАй бұрын
All sorts of crap in it I believe
@PrestigeReefАй бұрын
That’s correct, I try to put as little unknown substances in the tank as possible

Hi, I suggest much much less food at a time. Give it something to focus on,, instead of being in an overwhelming snow globe of food?
