welcome back to my humble home my friends! this week we are working with a tight budget of $60 groceries this week.. this is what we picked up! california prices are insane, due to inflation everything has gone up but none the less we are trusting in the lord, and it is more than enough! we are content and grateful, and still purchase what we enjoy in this life!

One of the first things I do when things are so tight is cut out snacks and drinks. It really adds up and is definitely more important to have more nutrient dense food instead of empty calories. We consider those things luxuries. I am very fortunate to have a discount grocery store that I can do the majority of my shopping, definitely can't afford a regular grocery store these days! Maybe you have one near you, try to Google it. Mine is 45 minutes away but it's so worth it and I only go once or twice a month. If I do shop a regular grocery store I only buy it if it's on sale otherwise I say we can do without or I make it from scratch. I hope you can get your vehicle fixed soon and at a good price. We have so many unexpected expenses too right now but praise God we have a warm home, food to eat and each other. We are so blessed. Take care. ❤

Really appreciate your videos. Quick tip.. add water to your all purpose cleaner half way through the bottle. You will get the same results while saving your self some money.

Hi, nice haul; we love that round Oscar Myer Turkey slices. Our food budget is very tight right now because now that we paid 1500 in property tax we have to catch up on all our bills. I understand and believe God is opening doors for us. Yes, I agree; life happens. That's right nothing stays the same so if we are down it won't be long before we are up again ❤😊⛄🧑‍🎄❄️🎄

My only income is social security each month I deduct for real estate taxes and put that in a savings I pay my house and car insurance monthly that way the money is there when real estate taxes come due

We are the children of the Most High God! God is the Lover of our souls! Paul says that he learned to live in abundance and in poverty by learning that he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him. Our strength comes from Him and Him alone. Sometimes we don't make the best choices when we have been struggling because we are tired of the struggle and feel that we deserve a treat to make us feel better, but they cannot make us feel better. They have no power! If we make better choices, we can lessen our struggles and make things go farther. I have been struggling with the wants lately. I don't want much but even pennies add up to dollars. It's not the big purchases that get us. It's all the small ones that add up that we don't think make a big difference.

When my mom was still working st delmonte,in the wesrhouse, she said may of the forklift drivers would bring burritos made from leftivers at home, theyed wrap in tin foil, place nesrbthenmotor& by lunch the mestvwould be hot &the cheeses melty😊 sounded good to me😊

I live in Redding ca and paid 8 dollars for 18 eggs at Winco! I almost had a heart attack. It was 8 dollars and you could buy 2 of the 18 packs. After that the price was $11!!!
