Hi Sydney, Great workout. One suggestion I have is to have the smaller muscle isolation exercises later in the workout. It was difficult doing the shoulder presses after the tri extensions. Fatigued triceps were a limiting factor. Thanks, and keep up the good workouts.

Good Morning Sydney. I have a question, but I'll give you some background first. I've been working out consistently for 3 years now. My workouts have been all body weight driven(walking/jogging, hiit and yoga). You've inspired me to add weights to my workouts. I'm a 43 year old woman, who's 5'9" and weigh 158 lbs. I'm also healthy overall (so no medical/physical concerns). What weight range would you suggest that I start with? i.e, Should I start with the standard 5,8,10(and MAYBE 15) lb. weights? I know that lifting this amount is only going to tone and I know there will be soreness. I just don't want to overdo it and burn out, if that makes any sense. Anything you can suggest is greatly appreciated. Have a great day!

I know you asked Sydney and hopefully she will reply back. I think you should do what works for your fitness level. She has her weights set at her level. You can go heavier or lighter, it depends on your fitness level. Some exercises I go heavier than she does or lighter. Some moves I have trouble doing, because of a shoulder injury or bad knees. (I modify sometimes). It doesn't hurt to lower weight or modify because form is key. Plus when going from good pain to bad pain is not fun. The group of dumbbells you listed sounds fine.
