If you use it properly (not over using on sections and do not use the boost feature-that does cause damage) it doesn’t cause heat damage because it uses pressure and air flow.. the technology also keeps on calculating how much heat/pressure during use to minimize damage- use the temperature according to your hair type also.. definitely it has to use hot air or the hair will not dry or straighten but it doesn’t have hot plates- it’s drying by pressure and air only. No hair tool is definitely the most healthy for sure- but to straighten hair, this is a million times healthier than using the traditional straightener.
