Ive switched to watercolors to try and "simplify" my art. I find I get caught up in the details trying to create something when I need to learn the tricks to make it look like something with little effort. Lessons like this are helping.

I did this in high school whenever I was after class in art hanging out with a friend. I drew a bunny peeking out from behind a bush, and it took less than 2 minutes. I had never done it before, never tried, first time doing that with paint. Your video reminded me of that moment, and I'm going to circle back and start painting freehand again. It's been way too long. Thank you

Great technique! I always wanted to watercolor and when I studied Tourism in England in the very early 2000, I always enjoyed watching „Watercolour Challenge“! I was amazed back then that something like watercoloring would even make it in an afternoon filling TV show! 😂 I never even started this hobby though I have to say. Maybe I should now!
