Raag shivranjani has serious tone to it. You can see they used in serious and sad songs mostly in intense situations. A few happy moments are like baharo photo barsaya.

I have heard that song from movie"Swarna Sundari" tuned by Adi Narayan Rao,Written by Bharat Vyas,"Kuhu Kuhu bole Koyaliya" is based on more than one ragas,namely,Rag Lalit

11:43 time par, song #16 (Anita movie - TUM BIN JIVAN, KAISE BITA) is NOT SHIVRANJANI based. Aap mujh par beshaq bharosa mat kiniye, LEKIN kisi gyaanijan se mashvaraa kar lijiye. Aur is gaane ko hataa dijiye, YA description mein MUAAFI maang lijiye, logon ko gumraah karne ke liye. Aap ka ek shubh-chintak. Baat sachchi hai ; kadvepan se mat lijiyega.

Aapne ye video dhyan se dekha aur comment kar ke meri bhool ko mujhe bataya iske liye bahut bahut dhanyawaad. Galti ho jaati hai, is geet ke chunav me bhi ho gayi hai shayad. Mai maanta hoon ki mai Shivranjani ka expert nahi hoon. Maine internet par uplabdh raga based songs ki websites se dekh ke gaana chuna tha. Kuch Raga specialist jaise ki Rohit Kataria ji ke videos se bhi madad li thi. Unke hisaab se bhi is geet ke kuch portions Shivranjani se hain aur kuch portions mixed hain. Aaj kal to ek hi mukhde me bahut se raagon ka mishran hota hai. Fir bhi kuch pramukh raga hone par us raga ka gaana kaha jaata hai.

You should have used someone else to do the singing and stuck to narrative. Singing is not your thing, especially female songs. And aj hun aye sawan beeta jaaye is no way Shivranjani, half of your research is bogus information. That song is in Asawari most likely Sindhu Bhairvi, long way from Shivranjani. Pl don't put bogus info here

Your observation is welcome. You are right about "Ajahun na aaye balama" not being Shivranjani. I checked it with some of my friends and they said it is Madhuvanti or Sindhu bhairavi. I accept my mistake for including it. As far as my singing is concerned, I respect your opinion but I would continue to sing. I would suggest you also to try singing. It is wonderful.
