I have heard that song from movie"Swarna Sundari" tuned by Adi Narayan Rao,Written by Bharat Vyas,"Kuhu Kuhu bole Koyaliya" is based on more than one ragas,namely,Rag Lalit

Rag Lalit,Rag Yaman Kalyan...etc .etc..Rag jog.If this true,that it means it is not necessary that entire song need not be based on the one rag.Pl.Clarify,if it so.Enlighten me on this point.I must admit that I am very novice in this field keep it up your spade workwith regards to different rag based songs

All these songs have their origins in the number "return to paradise" from the musical album "Music for Arabian night"composed and conducted by Ron Goodwin.Rahen na re hum is in fact an exact replica! It is a different matter that the great Indian music directors,singers and musicians managed to create awesome numbers out of this one particular tune of Ron Goodwin!

It is perturbing to note that you have added the photographs of great music directors Shankar Jaikishan along with other music directors who you say copied SD Burman's song. Shankar Jaikishan were not the calibre of music directors who copied songs of other music directors; rather it was the other way round. It would be appropriate if you delete the photographs of Shankar Jaikishan
