Nice information . 👍. There indeed appears to be hint of sadness and pathos in these Shivranjani songs . Even though film songs have a lot of mixing of Raagas , could ...Tujh se bichhad ke jinda hai hum ( yaadon ke mausam 1990 ) qualify to be based on Shivranjani . Anyway thanks for the 3 part video .

Raag Shivranjani is predominantly an intense raga which suits melancholic situations. Therefore most of the songs are on a sad note. It is also true that new songs have many ragas mixed therefore classifying them into one raga is at times misleading. Tujhse bichad ke zinha hain is also on Raga Shivranjani. I missed it. Sir. Was listening to the song ' Tumse hamara waada hai hamdam ' ( Jeena Teri gali mein 1991 ) and tere dard se dil abaad Raha ( Deewana 1992 ) . Both sounded like Shivranjani . Would be grateful if my suspicion regarding the raaga is confirmed. Thanks in anticipation.
