Hi there Cyrano! I used to follow you when you did this for the LG Stylo phones. Happy to see you are now giving helpful info to the OnePlus N200 phone, which I switched to after my LG Stylo. This was a great video! However, it just got a system update & now some of the features in the Settings have been changed. For instance, I don't see any setting for Earphones where you can adjust music settings. You may have to do an update now!! Thanks!

Make sure to get the Android 12 update. Oxygen OS 12 is awesome: it can kill permissions and storage for apps that you haven't used in 3 months. You can optimize/customize everything too. I'm getting like 3 days of battery capacity with normal use.

The amount of icons customizations OnePlus has by default is awesome. I also love how you can select different transition effects. "Roll" is my favorite. At this point , the way I move through my phone icons looks the same as my computer desktop sense I have the same effects from my Linux mashup.

Go to phone dialer and long hold the number thar you want to represent the person. Then that number will be the speed dial for that specific person

Because when I pressed & long held (say #2) on phone dialer, it just 2...like the first # of telephone # you want to call.... How can I make the text notifications louder? I'm deaf in one ear and can't hear the soft "ping". My old phone stated the texters name as in "new message from John Doe" and I could actually hear it in a different room.

Change the notification sound. The default one is low volume. I am deaf in my left ear.

Love how this phone runs after the recent update. One of my favorite tips was being able to add 3GB of ram from storage. Seems to run so much smoother now. Also removed animations and all too. Maybe all of this together helps.

@@ntstudio28 Oh I wasn't worried about storage. I just know that aside from the processor being a weak spot, it also comes from the ram being on the low end now. I haven't upgraded because i quite like 11 and some of the 12 versions i see of the n200 seem pretty laggy from the get go

With Oxygen OS 12, I was unable to receive calls without it going straight to voicemail or even power off my phone because it sent me to safe mode all the time. So be careful not to disable all animations on the n200 or that could happen to you too.

@@coolunusual Yes adding RAM was introduced with Oxygen OS 12. For me, it doesn't lag, but I still added 3GB of ROM for RAM. I recommend everyone to get _the last upgrade_ for the n200 because it is more secure and more customizable.

Is there any way to show only a mobile number when you are texting someone. For instance a friend has a home number and a cell number. When I try texting them from the message widget the phone shows both numbers. I have tried to make her cell number as a default but both numbers continue to show. Not remembering which number is which I either choose both or back out and go through the contracts so I can pick the number I want. On my LG it automatically only showed cell numbers since you can't text to a land line.

You might be on OxygenOS 12. This video looks like OxygenOS 11. You can search for any feature at the top of the Settings menu by typing it.

This is oxegenOS 11 with Android 11. After the update to oxegenOS 12 and Android 12, many features were taken away, and many Android 12 features never came. It's frustrating for all OnePlus users, even those who have the flagship models. Plus this phone is stuck on 12 for life. Kinda sucks but at least it's stable and optimized now.
