@@DizzyKrissi Are you in the UK? All the major stores here had it, but seem to have sold out. Noise levels are very good with high gain, slight hiss, but lacking the major noise you might expect in a high gain amp. Certainly quieter than the full size Ironheart which I used to own. And with my Zoom CDR in the loop including its noise gate, completely silent.

I'm thinking about splitting my guitar speakers inside my cab and adding two inputs. Then run a pedal like this with a little delay into one speaker for a dry sound, and my Blu guitar amp 1 into the other speaker for everything else. That should be a nice fat unique tone. Thanks for the sweet video.

Can I add, that while the XLR DI's cab sim is definitely convenient in a pinch? The option to completely defeat it IMO is what really makes this product shine! (Squints in judgment at the Orange Super Crush 100) Ha! Laney once had a fantastically ingenious FET based push/pull asymmetrical soft clipping preamp circuit design within their now discontinued Hardcore Max line of cheap practice amps! I'm wondering if they've perhaps continued that unique design within these Ironheart products? Top tier quality demo Pete! Cheers!

It’s really interesting I’ve been using one of these on my main rig for a few months now. I’ve never had to turn my volume past around 10 or 11 o clock and I’ve never had to saturate the gain nearly as much as these demos. Even for heavier stuff. I use a little bit of boost but never past around 9 o clock.

At $300.00 USD it unbelievable!!! I think 9 out of 10 guys in a blindfold test would not pick this out 3 or 4 at amps at twice the price. I am pretty sure it is made at the Laney factory in the UK. They do not make anything in Asia. You can send the Cab sim out to a board to a sound guy or use it to record. The ir on it is from the same year cab and model Tony Iommi used on the first few Sabbath albums.. It has Celestion v30's in it. It may give you less choices than other units but it doesn't need them. Better still you don't pay for what you don't need. A hell of lot of just OD's pedals cost more. Today alone J Rockett brought out one for $350.00, WTF.

For 100 more you get the Tonex. Which Pete thinks is superior. Tonex is the future. Why pay 300 for a couple of average tones when you can pay 399 and get UNLIMITED TONES. There is no comparison. Blindfolded or not, this is a no brainer.

@@PeteThorn thanks for taking the time to reply, much appreciated. I'm not sure if those are the issues. I don't get the appeal to an amp in a pedal format. I guess if you need a fly rig to power a cab, but ......man I would always grab a modeler for that. Maybe I'll be forced to "get it" when tubes finally stop being produced. A lot of companies make these now so someone's buying them.
