Good job! I'm really surprised this doesn't have more views. I will be doing this job within a month because I just bought a 1989 Prelude 2.0Si last week with a rear main seal leak! You inspired me to out-bid 2 other guys for a Polar White prelude. I'm in my 40's and always wanted this car. I wanted red but being picky is long-gone for these cars.

If you got a new clutch what you get? My clutch feels nice but want to up grade..loving the videos man 💪

You can go with any clutch that will fit a DA Integra if you are cool with drilling a hole through the flywheel. A machine shop would be happy to do it for you. You have to use both the Integra clutch and flywheel. You can't use the Prelude flywheel with a Integra clutch. Otherwise, hit up Amazon or Rockauto and get an OEM type clutch. That's what I did. I'm wondering why you didn't pull the whole motor and transmission out as a unit. especially if you are going to change the block. Are you putting in a B20A5?

Great question! At the time I didn't have an engine lift. It would have been much easier to do it all at once. You'll have to watch the other videos to see which engine I used. I sure the suspense is killing you!!

Heck yea man, I wish I had the money, place and ability to wrench on my 3g. I forgot about the pencil in the oil pan! That's crazy. Probably stuffed it up the drain plug like you said. Love the vids, keep them coming.

Soo what was the part number for the rear main seal? did you get the whole ring and the seal for the cover as well?

You can get a rear main seal anywhere. Rockauto has them. And yes, I needed to get the rear main seal cover to my engine builder to install on my rebuild engine.

How did you get the transmission back on with out a transmission jack?

I put it in with the engine,but I've done it in the past and you can use a jack or just bench press it. I've done both.

My B21 blew itself up after burning through its oil, was thinking of doing a B20 swap or attempt to rebuild my B21. Did you have to do anything special for the B20 swap, I have a manual. trying to get find any sort of help

Paid 1800 dollars on 2006 sti for clutch and main seal replacement in ct. Too much but short on time. Will do 98 prelude myself. Will get Ecedy clutch kit and OEM main seal.neat , organized garage. Doing all in driveway. Thanks for your time big help

Anything that is 4x100 will work. I would recommend 16" wheels. They look best.
