Beautiful home. I was born in Panama ( LA Chorrera ) but moved to the USA when I was 20 yrs old, I'm 61 yrs old. I have live in New Orleans, Louisiana, Johnson city, Tennessee, Norfolk Virginia and Harper, Kansas where I'm living now, but I want to move back to Panama 🇵🇦 life in the USA, is not like, it used to be. The crime is very bad, in all mejor cities and small cities as well. Cost of living is high, rent is high, and there is no way to buy a house when it can cost more than 200,000 for small house.. I'm thinking about buying small house in Cerro Punta. I enjoy the video very much

I live in Germany and have been researching Panama for almost six years now. Turning 50 this year, still too young to retire but I'm checking out my options. My favorite place in Panama is the province of Los Santos. I've come to a point in my life where I need to make some positve changes and your videos really hit home. I hope to take the tour sometime in the future. I really think Panama is the place for me. Keep up the good work.

You may find that you may be able to retire sooner than originally anticipated, once you do the maths. I am from Panama. My grandpa was originally from Austria, a part of Austria which was once Poland and is today part of Ukraine. Go figure! One of things he spoke was some form of German, like a dialect, "nieder-deutcsh" or something like that. He never regretted his choice of settling in Panama. Bei uns wilcomen! I hope I wrote that right. lol

Hi Cerrapuntian Folks. I'm Hugue, 65 from Brussels Belgium. The hungry taxman of Belgium is shaving my 2300 Euro pension by 500 and I find this insufferable so I decided to move to Panama orignallly it was for fiscal reasons but for a year now I watch a lot of youtubers telling their experience of living in Panama, so I'll come either in May or June this year, for one month first in order to open a bank account then fly back to Belgium in order to submit the form to the Office des PEnsions, and once that done; I'll fly back to PAnama for good. Of course I'll buy Jackie's Guide that comes with access to her Facebook group, maybe take a local guide as you did. All in all I'm convinced by all the youtube channels including yours. Cheers Hugue

Hi guys. Glad y'all are loving Cerro Punta. Is Hotel Bambito still open on the road up to Cerro Punta? Now, what is the main hospital in David, Chiriqui? I think that the top notch hospitals can only be found in Panama City which is a long drive East of Cerro Punta...about an 8 hour drive on the Pan-American Highway....Punta Pacifica Hospital (tied in with John-Hopkins) and Punta Paitilla Medical Center. Also, did you all rescind your U S. Citizenship? Do you now have Panamanian cedulas and have become official Panamanian citizens? Otherwise, the USA IRS requires FACTA filings on all income made in Panama. BTW - How do you like those delicious strawberries and coffee plantations in your area? Just don't have a stroke or a heart attack in Cerro Punta. That 1 hour window after the occurrence of such a medical event, is very much in jeopardy living up in Cerro Punta. Have you been to the summit of Volcan Baru, yet? 11, 600 feet above sea level and quite truthfully very chilly and windy up there by the cross and all the cell towers. On a clear day you can see the Pacific Ocean to the South and the Caribbean Sea/Atlantic Ocean to the North. The only place in the entire world where you can do this. Is Charlie Morris still the chef at El Hotel Panamonte? The Geisha coffee beans produce the most exquisite coffee in the area - yummy. Take care and enjoy my friends. Remember: YOLO - You Only Live Once. Peace and all good. I am looking to retire in Panama . Respectfully, Glenn Tucker
