He forgot to tell you about the hug anaconda’s and Boa Constrictor’s. Hiking and fishing could get yourself wrapped around. I’ve seen them in the Canal Zone. Imagine here in Volcán.

Thank you! That was a spectacular tour!! Really appreciate it. I found this video because I had done a search for the coldest climate in Panama (I like cool/cold places with a lot of clouds). Volcan came up and it looks like a safe and quaint community as well as healthy living with lots of great hiking. Jorge did a great job! As a single person who would be renting a small-mid sized place (furnished all-inclusive), I'm curious if the norm there is to rent month to month or are longer leases usually required?

There are furnished rentals as low as $400 a month but you can get a really nice house for $1200 too! Something for everyone. Grocery and restaurant prices are MUCH lower than Boquete.
