Alan do you know any thing about using an volvo diesel d5 block for petrol builds?

Hi there yes I have looked in to this a bit and its not going to work

@@AlanYoungST225 apparently Swedish are using them with quite a success I heard from some people. I found a guy on KZbin showing how he modified d5 block with d5 crank hbeam rods and stock pistons and t5 head and he made 596bhp on that setup so it gome curious

Hear in SA some 225 engine builders are using diesel liners in their 225 blocks.

@@kingsleygovender9555 oh wow that is very interesting 🤔 But wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to use D5 block then you would only need to use 2.3l pistons and custom hbeam rods and slight machining to adapt st head
