You should make your own electric longboard! I'm in the process of building mine. It runs on 6S, dual 5055-320kv motors, and 3d printed battery bay/gears. I think it would be an awesome project for you! You could compare it to all the gearbest boards you get sent.

The random braking may be caused by one of the three motor poles touching initiating battery regeneration or your remote is losing connection with the board and as a safety precaution it stops the motors so it doesn't go flying away out of control. Good luck

I repair batteries for a living and has seen some boosted boards fail (and sending the to usa for battery replacement cost about €1000) so that is not a good option. Since i noticed you are a swede (trollhättan?), let me know if you need any help with your electric boards/ Batteridoktorn.se (just bought a CREALITY CR-10 printer based on your video review). i actually have an abandonded boosted board left in the shop in stockholm, let me know if you want to test it.

Thank you really helpful. Have ever had the chance to test the meepo board ( the newer one v 1.5 or 1.51)? I received the pomelo a week ago and like it really much so far. The ride is great, but its portability is an issue for me. Heavy, no handle and the battery is to big to travel. So my question is, does the meepo ride and function as smooth as the pomelo or not?
