600+ LB Marlin!! Deep Sea Fishing in Hawaii

We caught a giant Blue Marlin fishing offshore Honolulu, Hawaii. This fish took multiple 100 yard runs up current, stayed down deep right underneath the boat, and forced us to ditch leader at least six times. By far one of the hardest fighting fish I have seen. I put her in the 600-700 lb range and to me she was bigger than both the 635lb and 653lb blues that I've weighed. These fish are amazing and video really never does their size and ability justice. Awesome fish and awesome to have the opportunity to send her off healthy.

Mostly 130's and 50's for baiting. The 130's can be overkill for our smaller fish but perfect when you hook one like that

You really need to get some proper leadering gloves

Lots of guys here don't even use leadering gloves 😅 really any glove will work good if you know what your doing
