My cousin once removed was with the British Royal Marine "A" Commando (Soon to be renamed RM 40 Commando) they lost 76 out of 370 as they were sent in to reinforce the Canadian Fusiliers Mont-Royal on White beach. My fathers cousin survived the assault.
