I have this pedal and thought there was a problem with it as the guitar signal seems to drop after I turn the reverb over half way, but it does it in this demo so maybe mine is working as it’s supposed to

I’ve owned my share of high end verbs, but I don’t think any of them sound as warm/natural as the Holy Grail. And there’s a perceived volume drop after about 12:30 on the dial as your signal gets wetter, lacks options compared to more modern verbs…but if you just want something simple, it’s tough to beat for its tonal qualities alone.

I’m getting a slight hiss when I connect this to pedalboard power, seems to be common in searching the web... Any fixes you know of ? I’d like to have it use the same power as my rig if possible

mine too, randomly started doing it recently. im gutted as its such a nice pedal. are you using the official power adapter?

@Gupster 23 hi, i already do use one (the fuel tank jr) but annoyingly the holy grail use a negative polarity, and i think most power supplies are positive polarity. Does that make sense?

Ok, so it says "you can get the same or better (good spring reverb sound) so many other ways these days" Which reverb pedal has a spring/hall as good as this one? ie not really hi-fi and a tad gritty, plus doesn't get in the way of your dry signal?
